FAQ: What are the most visited pages on this website and how many visits do they get?
Several years ago, I wrote an article on how to write different types of magic uses, or rather how I personally write various types of magic users within the context of my Quaraun books. Today that page is one of my top ten most visited articles. It gets 50 to 500 views/reads/hits/visits per day depending on the time of the years and has had over 200k visits total since it was published.
Amphibious Aliens: Debunking The Atwater Family's Alien Abduction Hoax with more then 30MILLION reads since 2007 and The GoldenEagle: Debunking Stephen King's World's Most Haunted Car Hoax with over tenMILLION reads since 2007 still rank as the two most visited articles on my website, but, neither of those are writing related.
Writing Medieval Servants is my most visited writing related article with over 7MILLION reads.
This website was started in 1996 and has 1 to 3 new articles (all written by me, I am the only writer on this site) published almost daily. In 2017 we crossed ten thousand articles published. As of 2023, EACH article gets MINIMUM 10 to 70 reads PER DAY, with the high traffic articles getting 500+ reads per day.
And since December 2019, my website now gets three hundred thousand to 7 million reads per month - well over ONE HUNDRED MILLION PAGE READS PER YEAR, making it not only the single most trafficked site in the State of Maine, but also one of the most visited websites in ALL OF NEW ENGLAND!
{{{HUGS}}} Thank you to all my readers for making this possible!

No matter where you go in the world, every one knows the story....
Once upon a time there was an evil Faerie King turned Necromancer who hated Elves, lead his armies marching across the world slaughtering every Elf in every village he passed. When he grew old, he murdered his 13 generals and turned them into Liches, then he commit suicide to turn himself into a Lich too. Together the Lich Lords continued their reign of terror slaughtering Elves across the planet.
One day they came to a village where lived a powerful wizard. As they did every where they went, the Liches slaughtered the Elves. Every last one.... except the wizard, who somehow survived.
Now the last of the Moon Elves roams the world in search of the Liches who killed his people. Becoming ever more powerful, learning all he can, becoming the world's most feared and most powerful wizard.... a Lich Hunter hell bent on vengeance, out to save the world and destroy the monsters who destroyed his people...
No matter where you go in the world, no one knows the truth....
Once upon a time there was a sad and lonely Elf, cast out by his people for being too different, too emotional, too liberal, too accepting of non-Elves, too willing to accept half-Elves as valuable members of society. Cast out of his society, left to die in the desert. He was rescued by a tribe of Demons who taught him their ways and their magic.
When his Demon "family" was killed, he returned to his real family, only to be treated far worse than he had been before. Beaten, tortured, mutilated, traumatized, cut off from the Elven hive mind, and left hanging upside down in a tree in the forest, bleeding to death, used by his own people, as bait to catch an evil Elf Eating Faerie King. The King of the Faeries - a vicious war lord, found the gutted Elf hanging in the tree and took pity on a wounded Elf wizard and nursed him back to health. For 30 years they lived together. The two became lovers.
For an Elf and a Faerie to be lovers was forbidden by Elf law. The Elves viciously attacked and tortured them both. Mortally wounded the Faerie King commit suicide to end his suffering rather than linger on in agony for weeks. Devastated, the Elf used the magic he'd learned from the Demons to resurrect the Faerie King as a Lich.
And now the Elf, a Necromancer with a Lich at his command, unleasehed the Lich on the Elves to punish them for killing his lover. With every Elf dead, the Lich escaped it's bottle, not returning to it's Necromancer.
Now, Quaraun, the last Moon Elf, The Pink Necromancer, driven to the brink of insanity, murderer of the other Elves, roams the planet, a Lich Hunter, not hunting Liches to kill them and save the world, but rather searching for his undead lover that they may be reunited, caring nothing for the world or any one in it, desiring only to be with his lover once again.
Serial killer, time traveller, builder of the Twighlight Manor.... these are the Adventures of Quaraun the Insane.

Wounded, depressed, and on the run, the Pink Necromancer heads home for Inuvijk, Quebec planning to kill himself upon arriving back at the location of his lover's death, 300 years prior. Sidetracked when the Forest of No Return grows up around him and cuts off his path, Quaraun sidetracks to the coast to by-pass the sentient forest. But a hurricane crashing up the Maine coast sends him fleeing for shelter at an enchanted tavern which suddenly appears out of no where.
Too late Quaraun realizes he's walked into a trap set by an evil Faerie and must survive a night with a sex crazed undead unicorn: The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley himself, King Gwallmaiic, leader of the Lich Lords.

A twisted baby murdering retelling of Rumpelstiltskin, this story tells what actually happened, in the bedtime story Quaraun had told to the Phooka in Night of the Screaming Unicorn.

Pocket Lich Unleashed: Quaraun Murders Finderu
Quaraun was originally the unnamed villain of the Twighlight Manor series, known only as The Grand High Emperor of the Triple Planets, sometimes called The Pink Necromancer, said to be a transvestite Necromancer who built the Twighlight Manor. His massive wardrobe of jeweled pink dresses was carefully locked away in one room of the Manor, by Quaraun's grandson Roderic Swanzen, the main character of The Twighlight Manor series. While it is hinted to that Roderic knows what became of his infamous grandfather, no one is ever able to get Roderic to speak of The Emperor's disappearance and his vanishing after building The Twighlight Manor remains a mystery the series never revealed.
In the Twighlight Manor series Quaraun is portrayed as the evilest person to ever walk the face of the Earth. No one can remember his name, because after The Battle of Ongadada, his name was erased from history.
Yet, in the Twighlight Manor series, people exist, who say the stories about him are untrue, that evil men buried the truth to hide a secret far worse then Ongadada.
The Quaraun Series is the prequel to The Twighlight Manor series and tells the story of the Pink necromancer and the events which would lead up to his building The Twighlight Manor.
Throughout the Quaraun series, Quaraun is treated as the hero and is rarely seen as being evil. This is largely due to his being the primary point of view character of the series. The stories being told from his point of view of the world, means he is not seen as the villain, because he does not think himself evil. The Quaraun series is told from the perspective of a supervillain (Quaraun), who does not think of himself as evil or villainous.
Kelim and The Necromancer is one of the few stories in the series to show Quaraun as a villain. A story which shows the dark nature of the Necromancer and how far he is willing to go, to get revenge on the people who killed his lover.
You can find out more about The Pink Necromancer here.
Quaraun is hailed as "the world's most powerful wizard" partly because he is one of the few people to have ever killed a dragon. However, he had not set out to kill said dragon and her death was an unfortunate side effect of a spell gone wrong.
Distraught at having taken the life of an innocent peaceful creature, Quaraun resurrected the dragon, turning her into a Lich. She immediately set out the slaughtering villages.
Realizing the error of creating a DracoLich, but finding himself unable to kill her again, he instead creates a new world, a dragon's paradise, which exists inside a tiny green bottle that he carries in his pocket.
With his pet dragon safely locked away in her bottle, Humans forgot about the horrifying beast a DracoLich truly is or how dangerous a Necromancer with a Lich at his command actually is. Though mentioned in nearly every story, she rarely makes an on page appearance.
She was named Pocket Lich by Unicorn, another of Quaraun's Liches.
Originally a fire-breathing Black Dragon, Pocket Lich is now an undead ice-breathing Frost Lich Zombie Dragon.
Kelim and The Necromancer is the first and one of the few volumes in the series to actually show Pocket Lich. She is also seen in Summoner of Darkness, Captain Quirk and the Pirate Ship Rent-A-Prize, The Dragons of Ongadada, The Battle of Ongadada, and The Phooka of the Thousand Deaths.
Pocket Lich is seen on the covers of Friends Are Forever and The Dragons of Ongadada:

Unicorn is NOT in Kelim and the Necromancer.
Evil Necromancer Quaraun, is almost never seen without his trusty Lich, BoomFuzzy the Unicorn, by his side. Kelim and the Necromancer is one of the few stories that does not feature Unicorn.
This story is set after BoomFuzzy's death (1158) and before Quaraun finds Unicorn at The Screaming Unicorn Inn (1458) during the 300 year period he wandered alone, hunting down The Guild and slaughtering it's members.
This volume features the murder of Guild leader Findaru.

Three Hundred years before Quaraun meet Unicorn in The Night of The Screaming Unicorn, he meet another Phooka, the same Phooka in another form, when an Elf eating candy-maker arrives in the Moon Elf Village and puts every one under a spell so that no one notices as villagers are one by one disappearing.
Young wizard Quaraun sees through the illusion, but instead of stopping it, helps the monster pick who to kill, and builds 13 phylacteries for the most infamous Lich making spell any wizard ever cast: the one that created the Thirteen Lich Lords, in the process falling in love with the leader of the Lich Lords, The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley himself.
Life is going good for the young wizard, until his best friend BeaLuna the Gnome alerts his father that there's more going on in the gingerbread house the making candy, and a mob of Moon Elves sets out to kill Quaraun in a public execution.
Enranged by the near murder of his lover, the illusions melt away revealing the Lich Lord and his innocent looking gingerbread house for the monsters they really are.
With the Twighlight Manor now threatening to eat every Elf in the village, the Moon Elves plot to destroy the suicidal Elf Eater and his sentient house, not realizing that worse things walked among then then Phooka's and Liches: a Thullid has taken up residence in the Pink Necromancer's head, remaining peacefully dormant until BoomFuzzy's death unleash's it's fury on them all.
TRIGGER WARNING:
Another of the stories banned by fanfiction.net in 2012, this one contains three controversial scenes:
The torture scene when Quaraun receives his sex altering injury.
The graphically detailed suicide of BoomFuzzy
The bloody murder of Quaraun's four children.
By far the bloodiest story of the series, this novel contains disturbing details of death, abuse, torture, suicide, and murder and is considered to be Gorn.
As you follow the series along, you find that Unicorn's obsession with Quaraun reaches a point where Quaraun gives up and simply allows himself to be sexually abused, daily, for years on end, by the Unicorn, because he's realized he can't get away from the extremely obsessive creature that follows him every where he goes.
One of the most disturbing scenes of the entire series is in volume 3, BoomFuzzy, when it is revealed, just how long the Unicorn's obsession has been going on. While most of the series takes place when Quaraun is an adult and is actually quite old, the novel, BoomFuzzy, is a flashback, that takes place when Quaraun was a child.
As a young boy, about 9 years old, Quaraun finds an injured pony, badly abused, shackled in chains, and locked in a cage. Not realizing the little innocent looking Shetland Pony, is actually a Phooka (a type of evil Faerie Horse), he sets it free. Phookas a viscous black unicorns, fire breathing monsters who skewer people on their horns, and take delight in crushing people to death under their hooves. There is no such thing as a good Phooka, and they are killed on sight whenever they are found. That the boy let him go free, puzzled the demonic beast.
The boy went back to his life. The Phooka followed him. From that point on, Quaraun could not escape the black Unicorn that followed his every move.
When Quaraun was age of 15, the Black Unicorn took on a humanoid form, that of a candy maker named BoomFuzzy, and set up shop in Quaraun's village. Luring children to his gingerbread house, the beast set out to killing and eating every one who got near his candy shop... except for Quaraun.
Quaraun was small, sick, and liked wearing dresses, resulting in his being bullied by the other boys in the village. When one day the bullying got out of hand and Quaraun was nearly killed, the Unicorn swept in and slaughtered the bullies, saving Quaraun's life, then taking the injurged boy back to the gingerbread house.
From there the BoomFuzzy story took a darker turn, as the young boy now finds himself, both well care for by a loving protector, and sexually abused by an obsessed stalker. The duel nature of BoomFuzzy the Unicorn, both comforts and terrifies Quaraun, as he finds himself safe and protected, while simultaneously abused and kept under strict control.
The rest of the BoomFuzzy novel becomes a self battle, with Quaraun, both loving and hating the Unicorn that both protects and hurts him.
At it's core, BoomFuzzy is a novel that takes a dark look into the effects of child abuse, sex slavery, and the confusion caused by being a child who is both loved and victimized by a psychopathic adult.
Quaraun remains with BoomFuzzy for 30 years, with their relationship rocky, as Quaraun finds himself wanting freedom to choose to love someone of his own choosing, and at the same time his not wanting to hurt the beast that truly does love him, but is incapable of showing that love in none abusive ways.
After 30 years, Quaraun leaves. He finally escapes the monster that held him captive and sexually abused him for 30 years. A few weeks later Quaraun marries his first wife. And the next day, BoomFuzzy kills himself.
Quaraun finds the body of the dead Unicorn 3 days later and is devastated, realizing that had he not married, BoomFuzzy would not have commit suicide.
The theme of Stockholm Syndrome pushes front and center into the series from that point on, with Quaraun torn between the guilt of having caused BoomFuzzy's death, and the wife he can not look at because without her, BoomFuzzy would still be alive.
The wife, seeing that her husband cares more for his childhood captive than he had let on, takes to bullying Quaraun, belittling BoomFuzzy's memory at every turn. Quaraun grows to hate his wife. The more his wife, puts down BoomFuzzy's memory, the more defensive Quaraun becomes in protecting BoomFuzzy's honor and denying that BoomFuzzy had spent years sexually abusing him.
As the years go on, Quaraun starts to forget he was BoomFuzzy's victim, he forgets that BoomFuzzy was a child rapist, he forgets that he had spent those years wanting freedom from his captive. His memories become warped and he starts to think of BoomFuzzy as a past lover. On the anniversary of BoomFuzzy's death, Quaraun's wife writes a nursery-rhyme song, belittling BoomFuzzy, and teaches it too their 4 children. Unable to take the constant belittling from his wife anymore, in a fit of rage, Quaraun lashes out at her and murders both his wife and their 4 children.
Horrified by what he's done, Quaraun flees into the mountains, not to be seen again for decades. When he does return to civilization, he's completly lost touch with reality, thus people begin to call him "Quaraun the Insane". When questioned as to why he killed his family, the only answer he gives anyone is: "I loved my children, but I loved BoomFuzzy more."
When the law tries to arrest him, he tries to escape and accidentally kills them too. Terrified, he flees again, now wanted for for multiple murders. Scared of his own temper, now afraid to be near anyone for fear he'll kill them, Quaraun becomes a wandering hermit, living on the run, never staying in any one place more then a day or two.
Several times his timing is bad and he arrives in towns, just as someone has been killed. Knowing he killed his family and the men who tried to arrest him, villagers are quick to blame him for any and every death, and soon reports calling him a serial killer are being spread across the entire country.

If you are unfamiliar with "The Hanging Tree" it is the original short story from which the entire BoomFuzzy novel was based upon.
It is also one of the single most graphic, grizzly, bloody, gory scenes of the entire Quaraun series.
And it is the scene that got the series banned off FanFiction.net.
In the short story called "The Hanging Tree" what happens is this:
Quaraun comes from a culture that outlaws same sex couples and is hiding that fact that he has a male lover. When he is accused of bedding with other males, he does not deny it and openly admits to having sex with other men, not realizing that this will incit his accusers into an angry mob, that next strips him naked, drags him to the center of town and publically tortures him, with most of the village coming forward to join in. They next hang him upside down in a tree in the town square, and continue to torture him.
The infamous highly detail, incredibly grizzly scene that got the series banned off FanFiction.net followed, as one Elf, pulled out a knife and forces it up into Quaraun's penis, then rippe the knife in a backward motion, slicing Quaraun's penis completely in half, leaving behind a scar known as "a sub penal incision". Following this Elf's example, other villagers slash Quaraun's belly, thighs, and groin with knives, leaving him horribly scarred for life. When they finished torturing him, Quaraun is left for dead, his bloody remains used as bait to capture The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley.
Unknown to the Elves however is the fact that it was the Elf Eater himself who is Quaraun's lover, and upon discovering what the Elves did to Quaraun, the Elf Eater slaughtered the Moon Elves, then takes Quaraun and spends the next several months nursing the dying Elf back to health. Quaraun eventually recovered, but he is left with a crippled leg, severe PTSD, rampant phobias that cripple his ability to function in society, and the horrific scars that he often bemoans.
This entire story is just under 3,000 words long. And it shows a horrify look at bigotry, bullying, and herd mentality of a mob joining a bully and nearly killing a gay man.
This is one of the very early stories in the series, which happens when Quaraun is very young, still a teenager. This story is the foundation base point that the other stories reference back to and you see flashbacks of it, glimpse to it, and the horrific night terrors caused by it, in nearly every volume of the Quaraun series.
In dozens of stories written after this, readers see Quaraun's life as it goes into a downward spiral of depression and mental illness, as he turns first to drugs, then to drinking, then to cutting, and eventually to multiple suicide attempts.
Today, here is what one person had to say about this scene, and what follows is my response... Enjoy!
Personally, as a bisexual person, I'm tired of seeing queer people only portrayed as villains, the token friend or victims of hate crimes.
~January 30, 2018
please come to Maine and tell the 140+ LGBTQA+ citizens of Old Orchard Beach this. I'm sure they would love to hear that you think "the queers" are NOT victims of hate crimes.
Since 2001:
40+ of them (myself included) have had their houses blown up by bombs
80+ of them have had their houses run over by backhoes (I've had to build 5 houses on my land in the past 12 years)

500+ pets, cats, dogs, and horses have been beheaded, their nailed to the doors of their LGBTQA+ owners (this has happened to me personally 13 times)
my cousin, he'd love to hear your sentiments... unfortunately, he was one of the 4 gay men whom were beheaded by the Ku Klux Klan in 2013
I used to be able to walk, but, you know as I was putting groceries in my car in WalMart parking lot when 2 gay haters decided to beat me up with a shopping cart (July 2016) I was paralyzed, they ruptured 3 discs in my spine; I'm crippled the rest of my life
you could come visit me and I can introduce you to the 8 foot tall KKK cross in my yard
2010 Portland Shaws (supermarket): an 80 year old black gay man was beaten to death while putting groceries in his car, while more the 40 shoppers cheered the attacker... his head was hit so many times by the shopping cart that by the time the police arrived, there was nothing left of his head, skull, or brain but a pool of jellied goo on the ground
April 2015, someone decided to fill my motorhome, you know the one that says "Transgender Awareness Tour Bus" on the side of it... they filled it with several thousand gallons of raw sewage/feces
August 2015 - public beheading of a transgender woman took place in the ice cream department of a local grocery store: Saco Shaws
Rotary Park, Biddeford, right next door, until 2 summers ago had the Guiness World Record for a very tall flag pole; they took the flag pole down because, they got tired of every weekend cutting down the gay men who were stripped naked and hanging by their balls from the top of the flag pole
THIS by the way, is the very real life event that inspired The Hanging Tree scene.
The first time this event happened... the gay man, was a 15 year old boy who was only SUSPECTED of being gay, because he wore a pink suit to a dance at school. Old Orchard Beach High School. The boy was striped naked, his ankels tied to the back bumper of a Old Orchard Beach Police Car, and then dragged the entire 14 mile drive, to the flagpole at Rotary Park in Biddeford, Maine. Because it happened at night, at a dance, no one noticed him missing at first... Because it was February, the month of the year, when our temperature plummet to -40F. He nearly froze to death. And with the park closed for winter, there was no one around to find him. He hung there, upside down, tied to a flag pole, hanging from the rope by his balls, for FIVE days.
That's the type of "jokes" the Old Orchard Beach police - grown men in the 40s and 50s, play on 5 year old CHILDREN, if the suspect the child might possibly be gay.
At night the Ku Klux Klan stands in the driveway of LGBTQA+ residents and shoots rifles fire at them.
January 4, 2016: 140+ LGBTQA+ families were marched out of their homes AT GUN POINT by police, when The Old Orchard Beach Town Hall issued a court order declaring it illegal to own property/houses if you were LGBTQA+
January 4, 2016: 140+ LGBTQA+ families were marched out of their homes AT GUNPOINT by police, when The Old Orchard Beach Town Hall issued a court order declaring it illegal to own property/houses if you were LGBTQA+
It took us 9 months and taking the case to Superior Court, but on October 21, 2016 Superior Court overruled the town's original court order as grounds of being "a gross violation of civil rights being committed by the United States Government".... for 9 months 140+ LGBTQA+ families were homeless and living in their cars while the Too Gay For Old Orchard Beach court battle went on
November 9, 2017, 3 months ago - while eating at Biddeford, McDonald's, a the manager and 5 employees, spiked my gay brother's food with so much LSD. Molly, and Meth that he went into a coma seconds after taking a bite of his meal, he remained in a coma for 5 days and nearly died; the FBI agent in charge of the attempted murder of my brother knows who did it because the whole thing was recorded on one of the restaurant's security cameras
Personally, as a bisexual person, I'm tired of seeing queer people only portrayed as villains, the token friend or victims of hate crimes.
Glad to see you are comfortable using the hate slur queer on yourself; I suppose you must use it the same way black men use niggar on themselves right? Trying to reclaim that vile, hate filled word? Are you REALLY bi or are you just saying that to sound cool? You clearly have no issues tossing the word queer around which makes me question the validity of your claim to be a part of the LGBTQA+ community.
A REAL gay person knows queer is to gay what niggar is to black; wannabes let their TRUE colours fly when they use hate terms like queer to describe themselves. Nothing brands a straight person trying to fit in faster then how they use the word queer.
You are clueless to what REAL LGBTQA+ people live with everyday of our lives if you think the hate crimes against us are a trope and using the word queer is anything close to acceptable.
I dare you to come to Maine and tell any one you are bisexual... the Ku Klux Klan will be on you in less than 24 hours
Welcome to Maine
Most of the hate crimes against the gay characters of the Quaraun series are based off the real world hate crimes against gay men happening here in Old Orchard Beach on a DAILY basis.
If you are so fed up with LGBTQA+ people being victims of hate crimes, then why don't you prove it by getting off you ass, coming up here to Maine and doing something to stop the hate crimes going on right now?
Picking up immediately where The Night of The Screaming Unicorn ends... Quaraun continues on his way to Inuvik, intending to kill himself once he arrives home, only to find that in his 300 year absence, a Human village has been built up over the remains of the decimated Moon Elf village.
Quaraun's sanity wavers more than ever, as he questions the reality of his two traveling companions, both of whom he is certain he murdered years ago. Quaraun decides to head back to the coast in search of the Unicorn, but can't shake the feeling he's being followed.
BeLuna the Gnome, oddly still alive these 300 years after the destruction of the Moon Elf Village and still sitting in the exact same spot where Quaraun had left her 300 years ago, joins the Elf in his search for the Unicorn.
Annoyingly for Quaraun, BeLuna disappears whenever any one else is around and is nowhere to be found when he crosses paths with a gang of Elf hating drunk Dwarves and again when Orcs show up.
Wandering aimlessly through the forest, lost and now accompanied by a disappearing Gnome and a silent Dwarf, Quaraun is at a loss to explain who his companions are or why they are following him. Rumors that the serial killing Pink Necromancer is now travelling the countryside building an army of Gnomish Ghosts and Dwarven Zombies doesn't help matters any.
Things are not right with Quaraun's two new companions, and it takes an Undead Unicorn to show the Necromancer there are some things no one else can see.

To find a way into the heart of the molten mountain, the group backtracks back to the forest in search of a different road and meets up with a Wood Elf Ranger, who says he'll show them the way. Racial differences clash as High Elves and Common Elves do not get along, and soon Quaraun finds himself sold by the angry Wood Elf to an army of Mountain Trolls.
Much later, the group is reunited and finally arrive at the massive demonic idol. Not knowing who to trust any more, and possessed by an cursed dagger, Quaraun turns on his friends, in a blood sacrifice ritual to the idol.
The first novel to show Quaraun's darker side, there is no happy ending in this book and not all of his friends live to the end of the story.
TRIGGER WARNING:
One of the volumes banned by fanfiction.net in 2012, this novel contains the controversial gang raped by trolls scene so many fans have been asking be republished.
Can Lich's die? They can if their phylactery is destroyed and they are stabbed with an enchanted dagger.
The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley is the evilest Lich ever known to mankind, and the world now rejoices in his defeat, for the phylactery of the Elf Eater has been destroyed and the Lich lies dying, with no hope of being resurrected...
Only a powerful Necromancer can resurrect a Lich and there isn't one crazy enough to dare resurrect the Elf Eater... or is there?
With Bela and Bullgaar belittling the Lich and telling Quaraun to just let the beast die, the Necromancer finds himself torn between saving the world from the worst monster to ever live, or saving the beast who now lays pleading for his life.

Quaraun wakes up in The Mournful Lamb Inn, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Every one tells him he arrived covered in blood and collapsed, but no one can answer any other questions, save a gargoyle-like beast of a vampire, who tells Quaraun he is dead by suicide and wanders through the Swamp of Death, the holding ground between life and death, heaven and hell. The holding grounds for people too good for hell but too evil for heaven, as well as the place where lost souls wander until they can be set free: The Mournful Lamb being the resting place for murder victims and suicide victims.
Confused and alone, Quaraun tries to leave the inn, only to discover a vast barrier around it prevents any one inside from getting out.
The vampire tells him the only way out is to look into his own memories and seek out the truth: seek for the three friends, who never travelled with you, answer the question: why do always travel alone.
Unlocking his past reveal a horrifying truth: BeaLuna the Gnome, Bullgaar the Dwarf, and BoomFuzzy the Unicorn were never there - figments of his warped imagination or ghosts of the past, he can't tell which, but in all this time no one but Quaraun has ever seen any of them, for they are all ghosts who now haunt their murderer.

LITERARY FICTION WARNING: This entire series is Slice of Life Vignette Literary Fiction, meaning there’s a lot of dialogue, a lot of talking, a lot of thinking, a lot of monologue, and a lot of emotional introspective, but not much action going on in this heavily character driven series. Each story is a narrow focused look at a single event (often a single day or hour) in Quaraun's life.
Not fully recovered from his ordeal at the Mournful Lamb Inn in the Swamp of Death, Quaraun is rejoined by Unicorn and heads for the coast to rest. Unfortunately a portal opens in the road in front of them and out run Persian Gulf War solders, shooting at an enemy they can no longer see.
Critically wounded by a 20th century weapon, the 15th century wizard, is taken in by a fanatical tribe of High Elves, known as the Sun Elves. Unable to heal his wounds, Quaraun is forced into a deep sleep to save his life.
Timing is bad, as the Guild has just moved into the area, with their ever more violent and increasingly fanatical hatred of all things different then they are. With the Guild torturing to death all wizards, Dwarves, Gnomes, Humans, minorities, Common Elves, and LGBTQ citizens in their path, they now invade Saco Bay's Garden By The Sea in search of the infamous Pink Necromancer, as Quaraun becomes their latest target.
When the black skinned Unicorn is captured by white power fanatics, protecting Quaraun's body from harm is left in the hands of an absent minded half-Elf teenager from the future.
Seeing the the homicidal hate group as the saviors of the land, the Sun Elves join forces with the Guild and turn on the comatose Quaraun, with no one around to save him, but a teenage Dungeon Master from the 1980s, who is trapped in the 1400s, has got a hold of Quaraun's Rainbow wand, and was never told Dungeons and Dragons spells were not real.

Quaraun loses control of his magic powers when his emotions are on edge. Unfortunately for those around him, the world's most powerful wizard, has very little control over the powers he possesses. When Quaraun gets mad, people die and he doesn't always know it.
Back at The Mournful Lamb Inn (Volume 8, Into The Swamp of Death) a random stranger arrived accusing Quaraun of making killed all the Katopas, but he had no knowledge of doing so.
Quaraun has had a very bad year. Nearly killed by a Lich (Vol 7. Vulgar Alchemist's Inn), only to nearly die weeks later in a suicide attempt (Vol. 8 Into The Swamp of Death), just to be gunned down by time travelling Humans the moment he recovers (Vol. 9 City of The Screaming Statues). Quaraun is desperately in need of rest.
Not fully recovered from his injuries, but plagued with nightmares about Katopas, Quaraun decides to return to the Valley of the Katopas, to find out what happened to the Katopas.
There is no rest for the Pink Necromancer in the valley of the dead.

Evil men go out of their way to try to drive a person to suicide.
Are you an evil man?
Are you sure you're not?
How many people have YOUR hate filled words killed?
Next time you go to do a mean thing to a fellow human, stop and really think about the consequences of your actions.
Did you ever notice how every one has a story to tell about me, yet not one of them ever speaks the truth?
What lies has YOUR gossiping tongue spread about me?
Did you know...
October 16, 2006, bomb blew up my house because of YOUR lies.
August 8, 2013, the house which replaced the one the bomb blew up, was driven over by a backhoe.
November 14, 2013, my 8 month old infant son was murdered because of your lies.
November 14, 2013, I was beaten up, paralized for 5 months, spent 18 weeks relearning to walk, I'm now crippled for the rest of my life, because of YOUR lies.
Are you proud of what you have done?
Enjoy your eternity in Hell. You earned it. You've certainly worked hard for it.

Back from the dead, once again with Unicorn in tow, and now with the Thullid priest ZooLock his prisoner shackled in chains, Quaraun is headed back to The Screaming Unicorn Tavern in Old Orchard Beach, but finds himself cursed with endless bad luck, as one thing after another drops out of the sky in his path.
Highwaymen, hellhounds, a turtle as big as a house, fire breathing butterflies, a train station from the 20th century, and a strange glow-in-the-dark demonic wizard with pockets full of sheep, who sits in a red armchair in poppy field in the 1400s reading 1980s spellbooks books by Gary Gaygax.
Quaraun goes head to head against The Gremlin, a time traveling wizard from the future who refuses to allow the Pink Necromancer back into Old Orchard Beach, where since his last visit, an evil Sorcerer named HellBorne has erected a giant cursed lighthouse known as The Black Tower.
ZooLock however has other plans, and while 4 rival wizards tear up the town in a wizard's duel, the Squid Headed Aliens From Neptune's Moon and their armies of JellyFish worshiping cultists arrive in town to preform a ritual that will unleash an Elder Brain Chaos Demon, known as The Sacred Pink JellyFish on the world. Too bad they didn't know she was already in town.

Why is the Quaraun Series Rated M18+?
Quaraun is a character I play in Dungeons & Dragons. Like most every other novel in the series, this novel is based off the notes taken from an actual game play session. The Summoner of Darkness is based off the Dungeons & Dragons Campaign: The Murder of the Seven Points by Erik Yaple. If you are a Dungeon Master interested in running a game using this story, the game guide used is this one here --->>> |

The Summoner of Darkness is the first time The Gremlin, EelKat, Lyxiana, Bela, and Spriggan (all characters from the original 1978 edition of Friends Are Forever, Volume 1 of The Twighlight Manor Series) make appearances in The Quaraun series.
While most of the Quaraun series is written with Quaraun as the only point of view character, EelKat, the primary point of view character of the Twighlight Manor series, alternates with Quaraun as a point of view character in Summoner of Darkness.
The novel tells 2 stories side by side, with all odd numbered chapters telling Quaraun's version of the story in the 1400s, and all even numbered chapters being written as letters from EelKat in the 1980s to her sister Lynxian.
EelKat is a 4th wall meta breaking narrator.
A staple in every story that features GhoulSpawn, is his glittering technicolour herd of sheep, that gather around him to listen as he reads Dungeon's & Dragons manuals, while sitting in a red armchair, in the middle of some field.
I own the red chair, btw, which you see me sitting in in my BookTube videos while I read. You can see it in this video here:
The 2 most common reader questions asked about GhoulSpawn are:
The first story to feature Gremlin as a main character was The Wild Years, published in 1987. In this story he is a member of PETA on a mission to shut down Procter & Gamble, after encountering a local sheep farm that supplies lambs for Iams dogfood. In the slaughterhouse on the farm is a conveyor belt, onto which baby lambs are herded, then dropped into a grinder where they are chopped up while still alive.
If you have a stomach strong enough to view such things, you can see BOTH the Proctor & Gamble animal by-product grinder and McDonald's hamburger making grinder in this video here, which shows it being used on baby chickens and baby cows.
(The chicken grinder shown in this video is P&G's Iams dog food processing plant and the cow grinder seen here are Mcdonald's hamburgers be made for you.)
Please be warned, this anti-war, human rights, and animal rights protest video shows EXTREMELY GRAPHIC real life footage of poachers, slaughterhouses, human trafficing, KKK attacks, beheaded ISIS victims, and children killed by landmines.
VIEWER DISCRETION IS STRONGLY ADVISED!
Back to GhoulSpawn, the series' resident uber extreme animal rights activist...
This was a very real farm and a very real machine which I had seen when I was 8 years old, and was the reason I became an animal rights activist and a vegetarian. This aspect of GhoulSpawn's character, his being a vegan animal rights activist with a vendetta against P&G is based off my own life. (If you did not know, I am the founder of the real world Procter & Gamble Boycott and many of the Twighlight Manor books were written specifically for the boycott, thus why a character like The Gremlin took centre stage.)
Readers came to know that if Gremlin was in the story, so too would be references to the evils of Procter & Gamble, Iams dogfood's horrific sheep grinding machine, and mysterious disappearing sheep, along with his random ramblings against McDonald's, Burger King, and other giants in the animal abuse industry.
Unfortunately for GhoulSpawn, he's often rambling on deaf ears, as Quaraun, Unicorn, and others from the 1400s, have no way to comprehend the future atrocities being described by the time traveller. The reactions of people from the 1400s varies from thinking GhoulSpawn is a raving lunatic (thus why he is dubbed "GhoulSpawn the Crazed") to people understanding that he has seen something which has horribly upset him and feeling pity for him, but not really being able to understand exactly what he is talking about.
And then, when he can't get people to listen to him, he starts pulling sheep out of his pockets, not realizing that back in the 1400s he's surrounded by superstitious people who view magic, Wizards, and such things as evil sorcery and people practicing them as witches to be burned and destroyed. As a teenager from the 1970s, GhoulSpawn has as much trouble comprehending the 1400s mind as they have comprehending him.
As no one but GhoulSpawn can get anything out of or even see anything in his pockets, he can safely stuff sheep in his pockets and then innocently stand there while people run around like mad trying to figure out where all the sheep are disappearing to. He'll stuff another sheep in his pockets every time no one is looking and will continue to do this until the entire herd is gone/in his pockets. At which point he'll then jump back in his 1974 AMC Gremlin, fly back to the 1400s and set the sheep loose in green pastures.
GhoulSpawn has a particular affinity for Cotswold sheep, and his habit of stealing/rescuing sheep and taking them to the past, is used as an explanation for why Cotswolds were so very overpopulated in Medieval times, yet today are considered an endangered species.
Over the years it became a running gag in the series for other characters to bully and tease Gremlin claiming he had a sex fetish for sheep. However, GhoulSpawn does not have sex with his sheep and often seen deeply upset over the accusation. Because most people in the 1400s do not believe GhoulSpawn is a time traveller from the future, they say that he made up his story of rescuing sheep from "the gambler" to cover up habits of beasillity. Quaraun and Unicorn remain two of the only people to believe GhoulSpawn's story as he has taken them to the future and they have seen the things he speaks of for themselves.
The reason for GhoulSpawn's obsession with sheep, is a secret he rarely reveals and is known only to his closet friends: while the series often bills him as a half-Elf, leaving people to assume in also half-Human, is is rather instead half-Demon, specifically he is an Uruisg, which is a Scottish Sheep Demon, a man with the upper body of a man and the lower body of a Cotswold sheep.
In keeping with the actual Irish, Welsh, and Scottish folklore about Uruisg, GhoulSpawn is somewhat of a trickster and causes chaos to ensure whenever he is around. Also like the actual folklore he is a notorious thief and pickpocket, compulsively unable to control his urge to simply pick up and take every shiny object he sees.
This is the first time GhoulSpawn appears using the name GhoulSpawn. In previous volumes he was using the name Glinta instead.
In the Twighlight Manor series he is known as The Gremlin.
Quaraun's teenaged lover GhoulSpawn is a "natural born" Sorcerer. He is a half-Elf/half Demon.
GhoulSpawn's father was an evil Demon who commanded an army of Ghouls. Because of this, he was known simply as "The Ghoul".
GhoulSpawn's mother was a Sun Elf whom had fallen in love with The Ghoul, but was forbidden by her family to have contact with him. She in turn ran away with her Demon lover, thus causing a war between Elves and Demons.
The Sun Elves tell a story of how their Princess was kidnapped and raped by the Ghoul, thus she gave birth to the Spawn of the Ghoul. Though his mother named him Glinta, she died while he was still very young, and his Elven kin, took to calling him GhoulSpawn as a way to brand him not one of them.
GhoulSpawn is an interdimensional time traveller, because he is unable to remain in any one time, place or dimension long, because he was born in the Hell Dimension, which exists outside of the realm of time and space as we know it. The Ghoul tried to escape the Sun Elves by going to the distant future (1974) and leaving his half-Elf son and the boy's mother there to live among a band of LSD addicted hippie Humans whom drove a 1974 AMC Gremlin.
The Sun-Elves eventually found their missing she-Elf and brought her back to the 1400s where she belonged, but she refused to leave her half-Demon son behind.
After his mother's death, GhoulSpawn was made a servant to his High Elf step-father and full blooded Elf step siblings, all of whom abused him and treated him like a slave. He grew up constantly being told he, because he was only a half-Elf, was unloved and unwanted and should have been killed at birth, resulting in the very low self esteem he has.
Neither Demons nor half-Elves are considered welcomed members of society, both being forced to live in small tribal groups on the outskirts of civilization. Both are often stoned to death or hung if they dare set foot in a city.
GhoulSpawn being both a Demon and a half-Elf is doubly mistreated by the majority of the world's population. He takes to travelling with Quaraun because Quaraun simply accepts GhoulSpawn as he is and is not bothered by being seen in the company of either a Demon or a half-Elf.
There are several instances when people try to bully GhoulSpawn and Quaraun (a high ranking full-blooded aristocratic High Elf) is quick to stand up for him, protecting and defending the half-Elf. Quaraun is often classified by other Elves as "insane" simply because he is willing to be friends with a half-Elf.
GhoulSpawn has a speech impediment which lessens when he is relaxed and grows worse the more nervous or frightened he becomes.
Around calm laid back characters like Quaraun, GhoulSpawn speaks without difficulty. However around domineering, headstrong, or bullying characters such as Unicorn or HellBorne, GhoulSpawn develops a stutter, making it difficult for him the get to the end of a sentence.
Because he is a Demon, GhoulSpawn was born with natural magical abilities, making him a rare "natural born wizard" or sorcerer.
GhoulSpawn is typical of a Sorcerer in the Quaraun series, in that he has Demon blood, was thus born with a Demon's natural ability to cast magic on some levels, has taking to self-teaching himself how to control the magic powers he was born with, is outcast from society because of his link to Demons, and is generally not well thought of, even though he is not in any way evil, and is in fact the only part of the cast who could be considered anything close to being a Hero.
Being a time traveller, there are times when Quaraun encounteres both GhoulSpawn and his future counterpart Gremlin in the same novel.
This is the first novel in the series to feature multiple versions of GhoulSpawn in a single novel.
GhoulSpawn remains one of the most hated and most loved characters in the series. People who dislike him, absolutely despise him and have gone so far as to request I remove his character from the series entirely. While people who love him, often cite him as their favourite character and often request I add him into more stories more often.
For the people who don't like him, I'm sorry, but he remains one of my favourite characters of the series and he's not going anywhere.
For the people who want to see more of him: there are plans to make changes to several stories in the series to include him in the future editions, more often.

Thinking he's found a genie in a bottle, a thief steals a glowing green bottle from a DiJinn wizard, then stows away on a SpellJamming ship about to leave port.
With no time to search the ship before it leaves, Quaraun signs up as a Helmsman: a wizard capable of using magic to sail giant pirate ships between planets for intergalactic space travel, a task he has never performed by after having meet GhoulSpawn is convinced there is nothing too it.
Realizing the wizard he stole the bottle from is on board, the thief tosses the bottle into the bay.
Quaraun and the thief have picked the wrong ship to board, as it's crew of pirates mutiny and take the ship as their own. Quaraun thee thief and the captain must work together to regain control of the ship.
Only problem being Quaraun cares nothing for the ship or it's crew... he just wants Pocket Lich back and is willing to do anything to find her.
In his bag of holding, Quaraun carries a ship in a bottle. The bottle when uncorked, releases the imprisoned ship and it's crew.
This is the story of how Quaraun came to be a Helmsman, how he acquired the ship, and why he keeps it's crew imprisoned in a bottle.

Mistaking Unicorn for an escaped slave and the French Canadian Quaraun for being an underground railway freedom fight for the North, they both find themselves in irons in front of a firing squad.
But one should never try to fight the world's most powerful Necromancer in a battle field of dead soldiers, especially not when he also has a Lich at his command.
With the Americans left to fight hoards of zombies, Quaraun and Unicorn escape to the nearby woods, where they discover the past, isn't what they thought it was, and this war, is actually a thousand years in the future... when Humans have progressed too far and are fast destroying themselves and their planet.
In a future after the Battle of Ongadada has already happened, wandering through fields of crashed planes, downed rockets, and dead autos, and worrying about the moon that is now shattered into millions of asteroids, another portal opens up, this one dropping the Chaos Demon GhoulSpawn into the Pink Necromancer's bed.
The three must work together to find their way back to the 1400s where they belong, but the growing relationship between Quaraun and GhoulSpawn has Unicorn venting his Lichish fury on the locals.
Desperate to return back to their correct time, the trio, head to Black Tower, only to find its been destroyed by GhoulSpawn's future self: Gremlin the deranged Chaos wizard whose only goal now is to crash the moon into Earth and wipe out life entirely...

GhoulSpawn does not a appear in many of the stories in the series, but when he does, he tends to push Quaraun out of centre stage and step in as the main character of the story. His backstory is one of the primary arches of the series. Books with his name in the title, feature him as the primary PoV character.
GhoulSpawn is one of the very early characters from the series and was featured as the main character throughout many stories written in the 1970s and 1980s, where he was then seen as the elderly Gremlin, a mad scientist who claimed to be an ancient wizard and had difficulty staying out of a straight jacket.
Many of the stories from the early Twighlight Manor series were told from Gremlin's perspective, and were presumed to be the narrations of a schizophrenia patent to his psychiatrist (which as you know most every story in this series is, thus why the 1400s scenes are often broken up by White Rock's doctors.
GhoulSpawn is the ancient Gremlin's younger self.
GhoulSpawn is a teenager from the 1970s, who was whisked away to the 1400s by an LSD powered time machine that was built out of a 1974 AMC Gremlin. It is unknown who built the car or why. GhoulSpawn acquired it when he was around 13 years old. The story he tells, is that he one day encountered a group of hippies in the park, and set out to play a game of live action (LARP) Dungeons and Dragons with them, himself playing a Chaos Wizard half-Elf. The game was interrupted by a police raid, as it turned out the hippies were LSD chemists and the glove compartment of the car full of drugs. During a high speed chase to escape police, the car suddenly flew into the sky and was sent through a portal where GhoulSpawn found himself in the 1400s, now transformed into the half-Elf Chaos wizard he had played in the game.
The first time he encounters Quaraun and Unicorn is 2 years later at age 15, in the story The City of the Screaming Statues.
Though Quaraun is the most powerful Wizard ever known, GhoulSpawn far surpasses Quaraun's ability. Quaraun often arrogantly refers to GhoulSpawn as a mage (a slur again magicians) due to the fact that GhoulSpawn has no formal training in Wizardry.
Quaraun, an elderly Elf, 500 years old upon meeting the 15 year old GhoulSpawn; himself spent 300 years learning magic, and can not fathom any belief that GhoulSpawn is a Wizard, due to GhoulSpawn's being so very young.
By the time the 15 year old GhoulSpawn meets Quaraun in City of the Screaming Statues, the young half-Elf has mastered the art of casting in real life the over the top fictional spells from his DnD Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide and has made himself a long green velvet frock coat, the lining of which is lined with more than 2 dozen pockets that are made out of bags of holding.
Amoung other things, GhoulSpawn carries his car, a big red armchair, around 200 Dungeons and Dragons books, and an ever growing herd of sheep in his pockets.
GhoulSpawn is not in the series again until Summoner of Darkness, where he appears as both the 16 year old GhoulSpawn and the 1,000 year old Gremlin.
Quaraun frequently is walking along and suddenly finds himself in a completely different town, with no real understanding of what has happened. Because he has no ability to comprehend the concept of time travel the early novels do not tell the reader that time travel has happened.
While the time travel element is hinted to in previous volumes, Summoner of Darkness is the first volume of the series to specifically introduce the weird events in Quaraun's life as him falling through portals and coming out in different time periods.
In Summoner of Darkness, The Gremlin finds himself stuck in the 1400s when his computer runs out of power before he leaves, resulting in Quaraun discovery that GhoulSpawn is a time traveler and that they keep meeting him at different ages. For example, Quaraun encounters a 15 year old, a 16 year old, a 1,000 year old and a 1,700 year old version of GhoulSpawn, all in the space of about 6 hours, in Summoner of Darkness.
GhoulSpawn and the Lich Lord's Lover, is the first time in the Quaraun series that GhoulSpawn takes on a leading role, with most of the story centering on him instead of primary main character Quaraun.
Lich Lord's Lover is set 4 years after GlouSpawn first meet Quaraun, making him now 19 in the story.
After GhoulSpawn and the Lich Lord's Lover, GhoulSpawn does not again appear in the series until GhoulSpawn the Crazed and The Rose Garden of The Pink Necromancer, which is Part 2 of Lich Lord's Lover and picks up 3 days after Lich Lord's Lover ends.
Rose Garden is the last volume to feature GhoulSpawn before he is killed by a Thullid, which sucks out his brain, moves into his body and lives inside his corpse reanimating it, thus becoming The Gremlin.
Rose Garden of The Pink Necromancer is the story which contains the death of GhoulSpawn and the birth of Gremlin in his place.
GhoulSpawn the Thullid infested undead half-Elf continues to make cameo appearances throughout the series, with his most prominent roles being in:
And if you think that looks like a lot of volumes, more then could be considered him only appearing in A FEW volumes, do keep in mind that the series has more than 130 novels + an additional 145 volumes planned.
The final volume of the series (The Slaughtering of the Unicorn), is volume #275 of the series. The series starts when Quaraun meets Unicorn and ends when Unicorn dies, in case anyone was wondering about the reason for this particular volume being the end of the series.
In any case, of the 275 volumes of the complete series, GhoulSpawn appears in fewer than 30 volumes, making him only a minor character in the grand scheme of things, even though he is a primary character in most of the novels he is featured in, and events that happen with him or are caused by him, play major roles in most every novel in the series, even the ones he does not appear in.
You can find out more about GhoulSpawn here:
It took a grand total of 17 days to plot, outline, write, edit, format, create the cover art, and publish GhoulSpawn & The Lich Lord's Lover, making it my "fastest written" novel ever.
The text itself was written in a single weekend.
This was the first story in the series to say what colour Unicorn's skin was. While other stories said he was "dark" and EVERY story describes his massive frizzy woolly dreadlocked hair, this was the first story to specifically call him "black" and has racist Civil War solider characters calling him "a niggar".
GhoulSpawn and the Lich Lord's Lover is the most returned novel in the series, with 97% of all copies sold to American readers being returned for a refund. However American sales make up only 5% of the total sales of the Quaraun series, with most of my readership being in Japan, Germany, and Brazil.
GhoulSpawn and the Lich Lord's Lover is the first volume of the series to show Quaraun having sex with someone other then Unicorn.
I have received more then a 100 emails from angry white power Americans (most of them residents of Maine) who have informed me that upon the discovery the series contained a non-white character, they would read no further books of the series unless I rewrote them to make Unicorn a white man.
More then a dozen emails coplained that there was "no such thing as a black Scotsman", stating that all Scottish people were white.
Scotland has had black kings, and in the 1400s, the time period of the series, not only did Scotland have a black king, but you were MORE LIKELY to encounter a short/pygmy black or brown skinned NATIVE Scotsmen wearing furs, then a tall, red-haired white one wearing kilts, as the "British Invasion of Alba" had not yet happened and kilts (a British invention) would not be invented until the 1800s.
Several people have pointed out that silk kimono are Asian not Scottish and that a Scottish king should not be wearing them. Actually, in the 1400s Persian Gypsies lived in Scotland, and had brought bright coloured silk kimono with them. It was not uncommon for the black and brown skinned Scottish tribal leaders to wear silk kimono in the 1400s.
Meaning Unicorn's being a half-Asian and half-black man, wearing fur wraps and plaid great kilts over silk kimono, is in fact historically accurate for a 1400s Scottish king.
As stated in The Night of the Screaming Unicorn, King Gwallmaiic aka BoomFuzzy The Unicorn, was born in Scotland, but is not Scottish by blood. His father being a black man from the Sepik Region of Papua New Guinea and his mother being a Japanese woman.
His father is a Phooka (a black demon) and his mother is an Aswang (an Asian demon).
In every story he is described as "looking like a dark skinned Asian". Which makes me wonder how readers did not know he was not white, prior to the release of this novel in particular.
The series was renumbered and this is now 23.
Unearthly earthquakes are disrupting life all over the country, with molten rivers and lava spouts showing up in places they should not be. The word on every one's lips is Fire Mountain is about to erupts after hundreds of years laying dormant...or is it?
The magical volcano is a hot spot for portals and portal activity has gone wild as portals everywhere are spitting out fire upon hapless country sides.
The Half-Demon Chaos Wizard, GhoulSpawn is back and once again trying to open a portal to the Hell Dimension his father was banished to, unfortunately something went wrong and instead of opening a portal to Hell, he's brought Hell to earth in the form of giant fire slugs.
It's up to Quaraun to undo the mess GhoulSpawn has made of the planet... if only some one could get the suicidally depressed Elf out of the tavern.

Peace and quiet are nowhere to be found when a cult of wannabe apprentices rise up and start following Quaraun every where he goes.
BoomFuzzy is back to building gingerbread houses again.
Far, far, away, on the farthest reaches of the galaxy, is a small solar system, where two planets lay locked in battle: The Ecrodons of the Burning Planet of Flame and the Frost Elves of Planet Chrystonia.
In a desperate attempt to prevent the future Quaraun from killing billions of people at the Battle of Ongadada, Gremlin and the Eel Kat send Quaraun through a portal to present day Ongadada.
Quaraun and Unicorn find themselves transported back to the Thullid home system, but on the wrong planet.
After being seriously injured, in Summoner of Darkness, half-Elf/half Demon, GhoulSpawn runs away. Missing for three years and feared dead, GhoulSpawn suddenly arrives at Black Tower seeking HellBorne, unaware HellBorne is dead and Quaraun now lives in the haunted lighthouse, which he has painted pink.
Overjoyed to see his friend returned, the joy is short lived as Quaraun realizes something is seriously wrong with the Sun Elf, who is rambling about being hunted by pink flying goldfish, bowls of killer chocolate pudding, and armies of pink tuxedo wearing penguins.
With GhoulSpawn's sanity fast slipping away, and his health going with it, it quickly becomes apparent that he's been infested by an alien JellyFish larvae that has burrowed into his skull and is slowly eating his brain.
Unable to save his friend, Quaraun is forced to watch while the timid and gentle GhoulSpawn the Sun Elf dies in agony and his body taken over by the violent, domineering GhoulSpawn the Thullid.
Torn over not killing the creature that has taken over GhoulSpawn''s body, the Pink Necromancer calls up and army of dead rose bushes to save the world from a Thullid invasion.
This novel picks up where Summoner of Darkness leaves off. Though can be read on it's own, the story references many event is Summoner of Darkness. Readers will find these references easier to understand if they have already read Summoner of Darkness before reading GhoulSpawn the Crazed.

Originally titled: Quaraun The Insane Meets GhoulSpawn The Crazed.
Though numbered as a later volume in the series, this is actually one of the very first Quaraun stories ever written, and was in fact the first story to feature Quaraun with his title "Quaraun the Insane"
GhoulSpawn's character was inspired by a car I owned in the 1980s. A 1974 AMC Gremlin. Orange with glow in the dark neon yellow flames painted on the sides. Thus why he wears orange and has phosphorescent neon yellow hair.
In The Twighlight Manor Series: The time travelling mad scientist known as The Gremlin, is a much older and now mentally unstable, GhoulSpawn of the Quaraun Series
GhoulSpawn's character was actually created before Quaraun's, with him being one of the primary characters from The Wild Years, a 1987 novella of The Twighlight Manor Series.
He was originally created in 1982 as the Chief Science Officer on board the star ship, The VISION-D8, and was Captain Goldeneagle's best friend. Both of who worked in service to Planet Ptarmigan's Queen Miss Kitten The Eel-Kat.
GhoulSpawn is one of only three characters to appear in every spin-off series of The Twighlight Manor Series. Him being a primary character of each series. EelKat and Spriggan being the other two.
The Twighlight Manor Series says he opened the portals to allow Flamites (High Elves) the ability to travel between their houses (Twighlight Manor, Black Tower, and White Rock) without detection by Humans.
The Planet Ptarmagin Series says he opened the portals to help the Ptarmagin Kats have a way to travel from one galaxy to another in the blink of an eye.
The Quaraun Series says he opened the portals in search of his father, a Chaos Demon known as "The Ghoul".
The Chrystonite Series says he opened the portals to go back in time and stop the Battle of Ongadada from happening.
The reality: GhoulSpawn was born and raised in Hell, after his Sun Elf mother was kidnapped and raped by a Chaos Demon. He is unable to stay in any one time period or dimension long, due to his not having been born in a physical plane of existence. His presence in any time or place causes rips in the fabric of reality, known as "portals", which cause people to fall into worlds and times they do not belong in, inadvertently changing history no matter where he goes. He spends his entire life desperately trying to find a way to close up these portals and prevent new ones from opening.
The series was renumbered. This is no longer volume 9.
Joined once again by FarDarrig, Quaraun and Unicorn stop at a Human village to rest for the night, and find they can't get to the end of their meal without interruption. Three attempts to order dinner later, they are again interrupted, this time by a portal opening up and tossing a pair of caped crusader actors from a 1960s TV show and a very real pole dancing super villain, into their plates.
Before they get a chance to find out who the costumed super heroes are, armies of murderous animatronic teddy bears start dropping from the sky spreading chaos throughout the village.
Seeing that they've somehow been zapped to the 1400s and landed in the plate of an angry Pink Necromancer, BatDude and Pigeon Poop Boy, quickly explain that a book critic has lashed out at a former super villain, turned pole dancing author, and in retaliation the super villain author has sent an army of teddy bears to kill all book review bloggers. The caped crusaders enlist in Quaraun's help to defeat the Jiggler before his teddy bears destroy the world.
Unfortunately (for the daring duo and book bloggers everywhere) Quaraun finds himself sexually attracted to the green haired, g-string wearing porn star and switches sides. With the teddy bears now joined by Quaraun's undead army of pink turkeys, Quebec is completely turned into utter chaos.
Jealous, Unicorn helps the masked crusaders get rid of the Jiggler, just so he can have Quaraun to himself again. To do so, the candy making Lich decides to fight fire with fire and turns himself into a pink flamingo then creates his own army of penis saluting, greatfully dead dancing rainbow gummy bears.

Teddy Bears On Parade
A Bowl of Fruit Salad
Flamingos, Tentacles, Tea, and Crumpets
As crazy as it may sound, this novel was actually based off a true story.
Once upon a time there was an author who wrote a detective murder mystery, which featured the main character as a teddy bear. Someone committed the sin of giving his novel a glowing 4-star review.
In a week long massive melt down that made self publishing history, the author created dozens of accounts, each one being a different teddy bear from his novel, and lashed out with his army of teddy bears at the book critic, for only giving him a measly little 4 star review instead of granting him the 5 star review he deserved.
I wrote this novel based entirely off his wild, deranged comments in the review, which you can read for yourself here.
For years now, Quaraun has listened to Unicorn talk about his life before his death and being turned into a Lich. Some of Unicorn's fondest memories were of his life living with his cousin Krumpas in Santa's Village, where he was a chef for the jolly old guy himself.
But Unicorn's stories of Jolly Old Saint Nick are very different from tales told to children, and tell of a mass murdering, baby eating Lich who masquerades as a gift giving good guy to hide the truth of who and what he really is.
Intrigued by Unicorn's off the wall tales of Santa's dark side, Quaraun agrees to go with Unicorn to visit Father Christmas and find out for himself if he even exists all and if he does, just what exactly it is that he is.
In a town where Grimm's darkest Fairy Tales are true, Quaraun meets the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Jack Frost, and the bloodthirsty Big Red Man himself: Santa Claus.
The problem is... now that he knows where they are, they have no intention of letting him go back home. Getting to the North Pole is a lot easier than escaping it...

Lost in a space that isn't there is a very old story idea that has sat on the back burner for several years and was never plotted out or fully outlined. Every once in a while I would write a quick scene for it and then move on to one of the other novels instead.
In 2009, I attempted to write it for NaNoWriMo, (under it's original title "Jack Frost's Revenge") but as you know, that's the year Kendra Silvermander appeared in my life with a wild flurry of death threats and psychopathic insanity. (I would find out later that she had actually been stalking me since 2006, though I would not learn this until she attempted to kill me on November 14, 2013). 2009 was the first year I meet her face to face when she arrived to tell me I was not allowed to write about Santa Claus because she had created an "official" NaNoWriMo outline" about Chris Baty on a Camping Trip being attacked by Moose, Bear, and Lobsters and I had to write her novel outline or else, because she claimed she was the NaNoWriMo ML and it was her responsibility to dictate what novel members wrote or shoot them in the head for not obeying her orders.
Needless to say NaNoWriMo 2009 was the beginning of several years of police protection and FBI investigations. And thus, because of the psychopathic bomb building lunatic who blew my house up and cut my cats' heads off and nailed them to my door, needless to say I never found the time to write the novel about Santa Claus.
Due to the PTSD (which you would have to if you too had barely survived a crazed woman who built a bomb and blew up your house at 1AM in the morning, leaving the bomb at your bedroom door, to make sure you were totally trapped and engulfed in flames.)
Due to the PTSD I now have to live with, I have had many issue with going back into this novel, as writing it triggers memories of Kendra Silvermander and her countless, brutally, violent arrivals at various restaurants and libraries in Southern Maine, where she would arrive at my dinner table while I was eating and sudden, lunge at me from behind, punching me in the head and and screaming:
"I'm Kendra Silvermander! It's MY turn to shine! You better not publish another book before I do! It's MY turn to shine! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn! MY turn!"
Each frantic war cry of "MY turn" in rhythm to her punching me in the head as many times.
To this day I do not know who this Kendra woman is, what her problem is, why she picked me as the target of her insanity, or why she persists in these vicious attacks every April/May and October/November of every single year.
If you've followed me long enough, you also know Kendra is the FBI's primary suspect on also being the infamous Kboards hacker.
Since I got beaten up by this weird so-called author, November 14, 2013, still no clue who she is, but she left me paralyzed for 5 months, during which time she hacked my KBoards account, my NaNoWriMo account, my website, my FaceBook, my Twitter, and other places, pretending to be me and written horrible stuff via my accounts. Then she created 52 fake Amazon accounts and left 52 fake and completely identical 1 star reviews on every one of my books.
I was paralyzed 5 months, relearning to walk 18 months... and I was offline for a full 3 years, and had no clue this woman had taken over all my online accounts or had done any of these things, until 2015. :( .
I'm crippled for the rest of my life, on a cane with one leg useless, and only have the use of 1 hand now, and permanent damage to my spine.
I used to publish a novel a month... now because of this still unidentified Kboards member, I've got $3million in medical bills, a bomb also blew up my house so living in my car, can barely move, and am lucky if I can get 1 book typed up a year. So frustrating.
It's been 4 years and I'm still in physical therapy, and it's a good day if I can stand up, let alone walk. Had to cancel the 2015-2018 book signing tour, and had to cancel all the monthly book releases from November 2013 to who knows when... still all canceled and we are closing in on 2018 now.
The Kboards hacker crushed my spine, my hip, my pelvis, and my knee. Tore up all the nerves and muscles. Got a $40million lawsuit waiting for when the FBI finally identifies who the Kboards hacker is. FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation agent's contact info is on my website if you have any info about who it was who hacked my Kboards account 2013 to 2015.
More information about her now more than 200 vicious, violent, house bombing, cat murdering, car smashing attacks can be found
Please give any information you have to the identity of this very dangerous, extremely violent, seriously mentally unstable criminal to:
But you can see, why it is I have such trouble going back into this novel and getting it beyond the basic idea.
The early rough first drafts of two chapters (Santa's Letter to Satan and Going North To Head South) were a result of writing prompts found on Reddit, seen embedded below. Clicking the links to either of these pages, will take you to where you can see the original, very, very, extremely short smidget of a scene, that would later result in being expanded to the chapters seen here.

I've been planning to write a Christmas novel for the Quaraun series and never got around to doing it. Thank you for this prompt! I'll be expanding on this scene over the next few weeks to see if I can work it into a plot for a Christmas story for Quaraun. {{{HUGS}}} This prompt was just the kick in the pants I needed to finally get it started!

Quaraun goes back in time to deliberately change history, to ensure BoomFuzzy never finds out what he's done, and creates a devastating rip in the fabric of time that sets in motion the events leading up to the Battle of Ongadada.
Meteors falling from the sky, portals slinging demonic creatures in their path, and armies of soldiers jumping through time warps hell bent on killing the baby, tell them the Gremlin is back on their trail.
With GhoulSpawn of the future trying to kill his baby, Quaraun doesn't know who to trust and turns on everyone, even BoomFuzzy to save the life of the baby that three planets want dead.
Quaraun is forever changed, when a starship from Crystonia arrives from the future and uses it's lasers to burn to the ground every city around him, forcing him to watch his family killed by the soldiers of Ongadada.

It was a beautiful sunny, summer morning, when Quaraun's world turned very, very dark.
With the three wizards, Quaraun, BoomFuzzy, and GhoulSpawn now living together at Black Tower, life has become peaceful and quiet. BoomFuzzy free to cook to his heart's content, GhoulSpawn lost in reading his books, and Quaraun tending his ever growing rose garden...
One second everything was normal and then next, Quaraun vanished without a trace. Swallowed by a multi dimensional portal that swept away every Elf on the planet, from every where, all at once.
The Elves find themselves in the distant future, imprisoned by a madman named Zebulon. Slave trader. Zookeeper. Side show ring master. Elf breeder.
Quaraun, ever the peaceful non-violent hippie of an Elf, takes a complacent stance to the abuse he receives at the hands of the Humans, refusing to fight back or defend himself.
When Quaraun finds his long lost missing half-Elf daughter, now an adult and being used as a breeder, repeatedly raped and tortured, his complacently wanes, given way to hellish wrath unleashed on every Human he meets.
Leaving a bloody trail of bodies in his path, Quaraun takes his daughter and escapes, eventually finding his way back to his own time...
But time moves differently in different dimensions, and while for BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn only 7 days have gone by... each day here, was 10 years there for Quaraun, who has now aged by nearly a 100 years, is now married to his half-Elf daughter, and is no longer the gentle, peaceful, kind hearted, loving Elf they once knew.
NOTE: Most of the Quaraun series is written in a distinctive "stage play dialogue" style with almost no narratives. The entire series being almost straight up dialogue.
Zebulon's Captive breaks from that format, going almost completely into the reverse, and being almost entirely narrative.
This is the first volume of the series, featuring Quaraun as a mute character. At the beginning he's not talking because he's sold to slavery in a country where he does not know the language. The whole story being told in narrative format of what he sees and feels and is thinking, without him ever having a conversation with the people around him.
By the end of this volume, his tongue has been cut out, leaving him mute and no longer able to verbally communicate from this novel onward in the series.

This is the story told from BoomFuzzy's perspective and takes place at Black Tower, telling what happened to BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn, while Quaraun was gone.

Quaraun and Unicorn wake up in a frozen desert, with no knowledge of where they are and memory of how they got there.
Assuming that they have once again been sucked out of their own time and space by yet another of GhoulSpawn's unstable portals, the two wizards set off to find a way back home, and come across a strange isolated Human city, where a squid-headed priest controls all the water sources, forcing people to worship his god or die of thirst.
Slush Master Bazooloo of the 8 Arms has brainwashed the citizens to depend upon the magical properties of the life giving slushies. Generations have passed since the last Human saw a natural water source, and with Bazooloo handing out Slushies only to those he deems worthy of living, the citizens have divided off into sects, each controlled by their devotion to one flavour of slushie.
When Unicorn shows the people how to make their own slushies and introducing new never before seen flavors, disrupting the belief in the mythical 9th flavour, he is seen by some as the Slush God whose coming was foretold and by others as a heretic sent by the evil Slush Maid to destroy Bazooloo's reign.

The premise of this story was created in a brainstorm session workshop at PortCon Maine 2017, in a panel called "Foundations of Worldbuilding" by Brett Pierce.
A group of about 60 people collaborated to create the basic structure on which this story was built.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this workshop and helped to create this portal world for Quaraun and Unicorn to visit!
I was in a 1-hour writing workshop last month and we were given the challenge to write a story based of a set of ideas that the group made together. The idea was to come up with a theocracy that was not evil and did not involve the worship of a deity.
In the end, we agreed to write this:
I don't know if anyone else in the group has actually gone on to write a story based off this idea or not, but me, I'm 7 chapters into writing a novel based off this idea. It's fun to write because it goes against a lot of the norms you see in a fantasy theocracy.
The world I'm dropping the story into is one I've already got several volumes published for.
The government system of the region is basically a group of wealthy, pompous bigot magic users (think, Ku Klux Klan, if they were Elf Wizards) who've declared every one who practices any form of magic (and you'd be surprised what they consider "magic" to be - like 1500s witch hunters they can "see" "magic" in everything, so long as it serves their purpose) without their permission, to be a traitor and must be executed. They started out as a wizarding guild, but then they killed off all the other guilds are are the only guild left (thus people refer to them simply as "The Guild"), they went on to over throw the government (a quasi-clanish-tribal-monarchy system) and declare themselves the law of the land.
I'm not sure what type of government you would call it - it's kind of like gangsters of the 1920s, where big bullies who can out bully the other bullies end up in power. Basically they are a gang style terrorist group that is slowly taking over all the governments.
They rule things similar to the Vogan in Hitchhiker's Guide, where they have documents and papers for everything and won't allow anyone to make a move without long lists of paperwork approvals and people who don't get the proper permits for something are executed. They are kind of terrorist/gangster/bureaucrats who are Elf wizards and basically want all none Elves dead ad all wizards who are not them dead because they don't want the competition.
So, tossing a wacky slushie worshiping theocracy into the mix... I don't know how the Guild is gonna react to that. They are used to overthrowing small "tribal" monarchies (not medieval style monarchies of kings in castles; rather I based them off the small clan kings of ancient pre-Celtic Scotland, which were very tribal). This'll be my first time writing them vs a theocracy and it ain't a traditional theocracy.
I have no plot, plan, or outline so no clue how this story is gonna end up going.
okay.... so according to this: https://www.pinterest.de/pin/305611524690656094/ (see image embedded below)
what I just described is a type of government known as a "Junta"
Junta: A group that takes control of the state after overthrowing the government by force.
Cool. Now I have a name for what type of government The Guild is.
(NOTE: The series has been renumbered; this was originally Vol 30 and is now 75)
In the 1400s the portals are growing more frequent and erratic, more people getting lost to them each day. This time Quaraun and GhoulSpawn get sucked away to places unknown, leaving Unicorn alone in Black Tower, helpless to find them
Meanwhile in the 21 Century, Sunta has escaped White Rock and attacked Phozeen. Horrible revelations are made when The Gremlin meets Sunta for the first time and learns the horrible truth behind Quaraun's death.
With the portals sealed decades ago, and the wizards striped of their magic, terror is unleashed on the Twighlight Manor when a giant portal opens up in the front parlor sending Gremlin once again back to the past.
At first assuming Gremlin opened the portal, Harrier quickly discovers darker forces at work, as the long sleeping house once again comes to life, while the dead rise up and walk it's bloody halls.
With the sentient Twighlight Manor eating more victims, and portals threatening to destroy the planet, Harrier does the unthinkable and heads back to the past to seek the help of the only ones able to help him:
King Gwallmaiic, Leader of the Lich Lords and his long ago banished general, a Demon known only as The Ghoul.

For many years Quaraun has hidden a dark secret from his lover BoomFuzzy, that he can not hide any longer.
Once upon a time, a long time ago, Quaraun fell through a portal and came out in an alternate world, identical to their own, in every way, except for one thing: BoomFuzzy didn't exist.
The world without BoomFuzzy, a world untouched by the Elf Eater f Pepper Valley. A world where Liches never rose up to take over the planet. A world reigned by Humans. A world, where Elves had gone extinct.
But a world where bullies still picked on men in dresses. A world where being different, was a very, very, very bad thing.
A world where Quaraun meet a young woman, who for a short while lived with him in Black Tower and gave birth to Pippiatta, his half-Elf baby. The child of two lovers from alternate dimensions of the same planet, the baby that should never have existed.
The story of how Pippiatta came to be born and why her birth resulted in a rip in time that would destroy the world and bring about Armageddon at the Battle of Ongadada.

With Quaraun's wife and baby alive and well, everyone assumes the future is safe, the past has been successfully changed, and the Battle of Ongadada never happened.
But everyone miss heard the Gremlin's words. He had told them, the Battle of Ongadada would happen the same day Quaraun's wife and their unborn baby died. He said baby. Singular. Only one. And Pippiatta gave birth to twins. Plural. Two.
Now living in The Twighlight Manor, the mute Quaraun raises his twin boys Vielder and Melaca in a life free of magic, portals, or wizardry.
Nineteen blissful years pass in peace, and Pippiatta is pregnant again.
Days before the baby is due, a portal opens up in the garden, as soldiers firing on an enemy no longer there, mistakenly gun down Quaraun's pregnant wife.
Confused as to where they are or how they got there, the soldiers quickly turn back and run into the portal they came out of, with Quaraun's twin sons, Vielder and Melaca, swords drawn and on their tail.
Too late BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn remember Gremlin's warning words:
"They'll come when you least expect them, murder his family and run back the way they came. You won't have time to think. You won't have time to react. No matter what any of you do, you won't have time to save them. No matter what you see, no matter what happens, don't let Quaraun run into that portal behind them. He can't save them. Don't let him try. You'll know it when you see it. Don't let him follow them into that portal."
It is with horror that they realize it's not the soldiers Quaraun runs after, but his sons, and neither BoomFuzzy nor GhoulSpawn are close enough to stop him.
Unable to prevent Quaraun's following after his sons, BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn follow Quaraun into the portal, but the nightmare they are greeted with is beyond anything they could have imagined.

The series was renumberd. It's now 108.
With Quaraun and BoomFuzzy both dead and GhoulSpawn banished into a sealed portal, life has changed dramatically for the Swanzen family.
Undead Lich King Vielder has taken over control of the triple planets, and his twin brother Melaca and their half-Elf brother Vangonese rule beside him.
At Quaraun's request, Melaca's son Roderic has inherited the Twighlight Manor.
With all three worlds of the solar system shattered by The Great Crystonite War and it's devastating Battle of Ongadada, refugees are struggling to find a place to survive. The Liore family, a once royal family of merfolk, seek refuse with BoomFuzzy's son Aardsvorkus Muddsburge and his sons Blackbird, FireHawk, and Harrier.
Melaca, now a twisted sadistic Lich, kidnaps Rycliff Liore's sister Melneeva and holds her hostage in the Twighlight Manor. Roderic finds the young girl and rescues her from his undead father. Enamored with her rescuer, Melneeva decides to stay with Roderic. The two marry and Melneeva gives birth to Roderic's four sons:
Vwoodell
Kramer
Razzberry
Etiole
The feud between the Swanzens and the Liore's however tears the family apart, as bodies stack ever higher around the Twighlight Manor, while rumors surface that the house is not a house, but a monstrous beast in disguise, eating all who walk through it's gaping mouth of a front door.
Originally written and published in 1978, this was the first volume of the series to be published. 2018 will be it's 40th anniversary.
Originally a 16 page short story in 1978; rewritten into a 75 page novella in 1991, the 2018 40th anniversary edition is the extended novelized edition.

Continued from "Zebulon's Captive"... This is the story told from BoomFuzzy's perspective and takes place at Black Tower...
At first assuming their friend was whisked away into a portal, BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn try desperately to find Quaraun, but when they discover every Elf on the planet has gone missing, they know dark magic is a foot.
For 7 frantic days they try to find out what happened, and then, as suddenly as he vanished, Quaraun returned... his face scared beyond recognition, his hands burned to the bone, and his tongue cut out.
Now crippled beyond any ability to function on his own, Quaraun is cared for by a pregnant near-feral half-Elf who viciously defends him and refuses to let either BoomFuzzy or GhoulSpawn near him.
Unable to discover what has happened to their beloved Moon Elf, BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn call on the help of GhoulSpawn's future self to find out what happened.
The Gremlin has nothing good to tell them, when he reveals that they are now on a count down to the Battle of Ongadada, which is less the 9 months away, and happen the day Quaraun watches his pregnant wife and unborn baby die.

Please note, this site is the Home Site for The Adventures of The Pink Necromancer aka The Quaraun Series.
The Quaraun series is a set of 2,000 short stories and 130 Fantasy novels about a suicidal, drug addicted, serial killing, transvestite wizard.
Due to the content of the books, you must be 18 or older to buy them and they are sold under M18+ ratings in countries that require book ratings on the cover.
These morbid novels do not have happy endings, and main character Quaraun's depression, suicidal nature, and drug use gets worse as the series progresses. If you are looking for cheerful, happy stories, these novels are not for you.
Most pages on EelKat.com are either sample chapters from these Dark Fantasy Yaoi novels or how-to advice and Q&As about writing Dark Fantasy Bizarro Yaoi, and thus many pages feature mention of suicide, drug use, cutting, depression, BDSM fetishes especially CBT, schizophrenia, ritual murder, and thus many pages are probably NSFW.
Please be aware that this site is considered an "Adult Entertainment" website and by viewing it you agree that you are over the age of 18 years old.
Reader discretion of both the Quaraun novels and the pages of this website is advised.

The Adventures of Quaraun The Insane: First draft/sample chapters from the novels.
NOTE: The scenes and chapters featured here, are from the unedited first drafts, and NOT from the finished published novels. This was done because many readers had asked to see what the first drafts looked like to see how different they were from the finished product. Because these are from the unedited first drafts, they contain spelling and grammar errors, typos, and sections that are still unrevised. These errors are corrected in the final published editions.
The Quaraun series is a set of 130 Fantasy novels about a suicidal, drug addicted, serial killing, bi-sexual, polyamorous/polygamous, masochistic, time traveling transvestite Elf wizard, his sex crazed, sadistic, drug dealing unicorn, and their bloodthirsty sentient house. The Quaraun series contains heavy use of the following:
|
The Quaraun series has been banned by the following:The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints aka The Mormon Church (1991) (Reason: too much sex) (Interestingly, there were no sex scenes in the series before 2014) The Arundel Christian Tabernacle, Biddeford-Arundel, Maine (2001) (Reason: evil and influenced by Satan) New Life Church, Biddeford, Maine (2003) (Reason: Too gay for the family friendly church) (Interestingly, there were no gay characters in the series before 2014) Fan-Fiction.net (2012) (Reason: Too violent) Curtis Lake Church, Sanford, Maine (2013) (Reason: Too gay for the family friendly church) (Interestingly, there were no gay characters in the series before 2014 and I added gay characters to the series BECAUSE of this false complaint) Old Orchard Beach Town Hall of the Town of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, a division of the United States of America Government (January 4, 2016 via court order)(State of Maine, Biddeford District Court: Docket #BDDC-PA-2015-00574) (Reason #1: Too gay for the family friendly town of Old Orchard Beach)(Reason #2: Contains transgender characters depicted as living in Old Orchard Beach, in violation of the ordinance which states Old Orchard Beach is a "Family Friendly Town" by virtue of it's ban on LGBTQ+ residents) NOTE: As a result of this ban, and my discovery that OOB had an ordinance banning LGBTQ citizens from living in our town, an additional court case rose up, and on October 21, 2016, Alfred Superior Court overruled the ordinance banning LGBTQs in OOB, AND overturned the town hall's ban on the Quaraun series, citing that both the ordinace baning LGBTQ residents and the court order ordering the Quaraun books to be removed from Amazon.comto be "gross violations of civil rights".) Did you notice how 3 different places used the exact same phrase of "Too gay for the family friendly..." In each of these three cases the exact same minister was behind the ban. |

Why is the Quaraun Series Rated M18+?
Book publishing hiatus: November 14, 2013 I was beaten up by a woman who claimed to be a unpublished author. I was paralyzed for 5 months and am still 4 years later relearning to use my legs & arms. While I was cripple, offline, and recovering these past 4 years, she next proceeded to hack my website and most all of my forum and social network accounts.
April 2015 she returned, filled my motorhome with 1,000s of gallons of feces/raw sewage and cut my cats heads off nailing them to my door. 10 cats are currently still missing.
October 2006 she blew up my house with a bomb, in May 2013 put a bomb in my classroom at college, November 2015 put a bomb in my department where I work at Walmart, and June 2016 put yet another bomb in WalMart. The FBI is trying to identity of this woman. More info about these terrorist attacks on my family can be found here: https://www.eelkat.com/1667Words.html
If you have any information about this woman, please contact the FBI agent in charge of the case, his contact info is on that page.
If the book has an "About" page, then clicking the cover image will take you to it, where you can see the book cover full size. If clicking the cover doesn't do anything, the page isn't up yet, but will be soon.
With more then 100 volumes in the series, The Adventures of Quaraun the Insane features a wide range of some pretty awesome fantasy art. Here's a gallery to showcase them...
*At the moment these are just static images. I will be adding to this site, "About the Book" pages for each separate volume in the series. As those pages go up, I will turn the corresponding image here, into a link to that page, where you'll be able to see the book cover image full size.
The books are not shown in series order here. If you want to know which order the books should be read in, please see the chart on THIS PAGE.
This is probably the most massive project I have ever taken on. In all more then a dozen different artists were involved in making the art for these books.
As you may or may not be aware, this is the first time I have published a series with cover art. Since the 1970s I have never used cover art on my books. Most of my stories were published in magazines, chapbooks, and anthologies, so no need for covers. Stories that were stand-alone-chapbooks always just had blank pictureless covers with only the title printed on the covers.
This is also the first time a series of mine is being released as e-book before print. Normally my books go print first and MAYBE go to ebook. I've rarely released any of my stories as ebooks. So, there are a lot of new things happening for me with the Quaraun series.
I absolutely LOVE the cover art. I want to send out a great big THANK YOU to all the artists, they did an amazing job. I just want hug everyone of them. These pictures are so beautiful. I love them.

QUESTION: How many stories are there in the series?
ANSWER: I have never counted.
Each of the finished stories will be at least 25,000 words long and up to 75,000 words long in some instances, with the majority of the stories being at 50k to 90k words in length.
Some are over 100k, a few are over 200k, and at least 1 (Summoner of Darkness) passed 300k
Yes! That DOES mean the Quaraun series is NOT a short story serial, nor is it a novella serial. Each book in the Quaraun series is a full length novel.
Before the serial started publication, I had received several reader questions asking if this was a series of short stories or a series of novellas. It is neither. These are novels. (The reason folks were asking is because, I am have been a short story writer since 1978 and they were confused when I announced this series back in 2011. They did not expect me to switch to longer stories.)
As you probably have figured out by now, this is a spin-off of The Twighlight Manor series, which was my longest running serial to date, running monthly & bi-monthly releases from 1978 to 1997 and 4 annual releases from 1997 to 2015. Most of the TMStories ranged from 3,000 to 7,500 words each. The Twighlight Manor series is now in its 37th year ans still going.
The Quaraun series is a prequel to The TMSeries.
Like the TMSeries, the Quaraun series is written in an "open ended soap opera" style. Meaning there is no end planned, and the Quaraun series could conceivably, run for 30 or more years in exactly the same way the TMSeries has done.
So, how many books will there be in the Quaraun series? The answer is unknown. At MINIMUM is will contain at least 130 volumes, but there are more then 300 plots already started. Below is an alphabetical list of the work-in-progress stories and their current working titles. As each title is published, I will change it to a link:

~oO0~ Twighlight Manor series 35th anniversary rewrite of the original
As I said, these are working titles, so the titles may change by the time the story itself is published.
All of the titles listed above, already have a "short story" plot written out. Each of these varies from 1,000 to 3,000 words. 130 of them are already expanded to 5,000 to 7,000 words.
It takes me about 3 weeks to take each 5k short story/plot and rewrite it into a 50k novel. Editing takes about a week. Formatting, takes about an hour. Thus each book takes about a month to complete. The series is planned to have monthly releases from September 2014 and at least until September 2023. Yes, it is going to take 9 years for this project to be completed.
As of today (March 7, 2015) there are 349 covers commissioned with at least that many stories planned, 130 stories with a of minimum 5k long plots outlined, 21 volumes are mostly written and at 25,000 to 40,000 words each (thus nearing completion). There are 7 others at 45,000 to 55,000 words each and currently in the final stages of editing/formatting/etc. Three volumes are currently published. The first 10 volumes should be published by May 2015, possibly sooner.
At last count there were 349 stories total planned for the full run of this (and likely more to be added). The covers for those 349 stories have already been commissioned, about half of the covers are now finished. I will continue to upload those as they become available. Getting these covers made for a series of this scale is no small feat; a team of more then a dozen cover artists have come together for this project. {{{Big hugs to the team of wonderful artists working on this project! Your artwork is amazing! I loves them!}}}
The planning for this project started in summer of 2011. I spent 2012 creating the characters, setting, creatures, character backstories, cross referencing with The Twighlight Manor series. Spent 2013 writing up the outlines for the original 130 stories planned, and had planned to start releasing this in January 2014. Unfortunately, several health issues side tracked the whole project when I spent 5 months bedridden due to a back, hip, and knee injury and then several more months relearning to walk. The back injury left me unable to move my arms during those 5 months, and thus I was unable to type/write from November 2013 until May 2014 (which means I was on a sick leave from writing - and everything else - for a total of 10 months, from November 2013 til August 2014.)
I wasn't able to start writing again until August 2014, but it's slow going now. I've limited movement now, sitting, standing, and walking are all major tasks while my injuries continue to heal, and I was rushed back into the hospital November 14, 2014, and then again for surgery December 2, 2014, and was without the use of my arm until December 27, 2014 and only limited use after that and am still in and out of the hospital, now in March 2015.
So, because my health is roller coaster ride ride now, and I'm having to work around doctors and hospitals, the first few issues of the series will not seeing regular releases. Oh well. I am slowly recovering, so, hopefully those health interruptions are coming to an end soon and I'll be back on this project full time. At this point releases will be irregular at least until August 2015, after which they should, hopefully, be monthly as planned.
This is by far the biggest (and most expensive - this will be the first time I've done a series with professional cover art; I usually do my own cover art) project I have ever undertaken. Because these are novels and not short stories, this series dwarfs the Twighlight Manor series with it's 237 volumes, as those were mostly short stories.
Right now you guys are watching the early stages of this thing as it unfolds. Thank you for all your love and support as we get this project up and running.
{{{lots of hugs, love, and kisses - for all of you reading this}}}
What do you want to become?
What did you do today to step closer to that goal?
Whatever you do, strive to be your best at it!
And remember to have yourself a great and wonderfully glorious day!
I am wondering why has Amazon moved the Quaraun books to the category "Transgender Romance" and also "Gay Erotica"? The base story is a deeply depressed, suicidal, drug addict Elf who's lover commit suicide and he's trying not to do the same. It's an old Elf in a tavern, monologuing a lot of flashbacks and back story scenes of his youth. These stories are dark, bloody, angsty, full of drug use, murder, rape, Medieval torture, mental/physical/emotional abuse, and references to depression and suicide - no romance in it, unless you count the occasional (and usually brutally violent) rape scenes that show up in nearly every volume - sorry - no clue what Amazon is thinking or why they moved these to Romance and Erotica, but these books are NOT even close to being Romance or Erotica on any level at all. When I published these books I put them in "Dark Fantasy" and "Yaoi". If they show up in any category other then "Dark Fantasy" and "Yaoi", it's because Amazon put them there without my authorization or approval.

The 4 door white truck continues to sit at the end of my drive way (146 Portland Ave, Old Orchard Beach, Maine) near every night around sunset, reeving it's engine and squealing it's tires, with the driver yelling anti-gay threats and obscenities out the window. He continues to do the same thing at my dad's apartment building (Biddeford Maine) a few times a week, usually in mid to late afternoon time. He continues to follow me to shopping to various stores in various towns throughout the states.
Phrases he yells from the truck include:
"Kill or be killed remember Saco Shaws all transsexuals are alike"
"I keep a gun under the seat of my truck, I'm gonna use it to shoot you in the head, you transvestite freak"
if cars are going by he yells to them: "that thing is Ken's son, look at how's it's dressed; it's insane, it has autism, we can't allow that thing and it's gay cars in our family friend town of Old Orchard Beach"
He often babbles deranged ramblings about something he calls "the gay-pocalypse", raving lunacy about how "all the gays are gathering" on his doorstep. He raves some crazy nonsense about how Armageddon is coming and the war to end all wars will be "the gays against the Christians" and Christians have to be ready to "kill the gays"
My car is the Autism Awareness Car and had 2.5million marbles glued to it (I have Autism - savant - Kanner's syndrome) he claims tat my car "is gay" because of what it looks like. My car has been vandalized several dozen times, including to have the tires slashed 7 times in 6 months.
After dark often around 10PM, he stands at the end of the logging road across the street from me and shoots at my motohome (in February 2014 he shot holes in my neighbour's barn while doing this). I have video footage of 3 of his shootings at me here: https://youtu.be/NUebzJ9sz9U and here: https://youtu.be/C4dZbgG-Smw
This has gone on since August 2013 now, in addition to all the vandalism, hate crimes, pet beheadings, etc that has happened, including the bomb that blew up our house in 2006.
As you know, that whole time I had not been able to get a plate number on the truck. He as just here again, and I just realized why I could not get a plate number... there are no plates on the truck, either on the front or on the back. However, as he was driving away today... I noticed, there is a plate, stuck up in the back window of the truck, where it can barely be seen, deliberately obscured from view behind a silver tool box.
