What is the series about?
It's three god-level planet destroying alien invader Space Elf, Space Faerie, Space Demon wizards, with big global domination plans, whom have invaded 40th century Earth, settled in a lighthouse in Maine, are hellbent on destroying all Humans and taking over the planet, but never getting anything done because they are too busy throwing temper tantrums, having hissy fits, and flinging food, sea slugs, insults, and sexual tension at each other to get around to destroying the planet.
It's slice-of-life survival horror in a post-apocalyptic necromantic dictatorship, told through dysfunctional domestic intimacy between soul-stealing villains who rule the world. Welcome to the spiralling madness of Quaraunâs eldritch, sensory-heavy, character-driven, neurotic, dysfunctional, intimate, sugar-dusted Fae-punk world. This is the hostile, dystopian, necromantic, and hyper-sensory domestic horror of Quaraunâs everyday life with BoomFuzzy (and sometimes GhoulSpawn), in a grim world ruled by undead Faerie warlords where society has collapsed and survival is brutal, intimate, and corrupt, and Humans are often on the menu of UnSeelie Court feasts.

The icy winds howled through the barren landscape, carrying with them a scent of desolation. In the heart of Maineâs frigid wastelands, the fractured moon cast eerie, silvery light over the endless expanse of snow and jagged rocks. The lighthouse stood tall, a solitary beacon of light amidst the gloom, its beam slicing through the perpetual fog.
Quaraun, wrapped in resplendent pink silk, leaned heavily on his cane as he navigated the treacherous path to the shore.
BoomFuzzy trailed behind, his cataract-clouded eyes useless in the pitch-black night, relied on his keen hearing, following the soft crunch of Quaraunâs footsteps.
Beside them, GhoulSpawn, bulky and towering, moved with an uneasy grace, his cloven hooves crunching through the frozen snow covered beach sand.
Quaraun suddenly stopped, causing BoomFuzzy to slam into him, and fall over.
âCan ya not do that!â BoomFuzzy yelled, as GhoulSpawn helped him back to his feet. âI canâna see when ya stop, ya know.â
But Quaraun wasnât paying attention to BoomFuzzyâs complaints. The Moon Elfâs long thin ears were pricked up, alert and twitching.
âUnicorn,â Quaraun whispered. âDo you hear that?â
BoomFuzzy tilted his head, listening intently.
A faint, otherworldly hum resonated through the air, growing louder with each passing moment.
GhoulSpawn looked up, scanning the horizon, just in time to witness a blazing object streak across the sky, crashing into the distant forest with a thunderous roar.
âLook at that!â he said.
Quaraun, however, was already moving in that direction. Heading away from the beach and into the forest behind the lighthouse.
âI guess we should follow him,â GhoulSpawn said to BoomFuzzy.
âAye. Just do no be an idiot like him. In case ya forgot, I is blind. I can no see where he went.â
âIâll help you.â
BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn trailed along behind Quaraun, GhoulSpawn guiding the old blind Phooka.
The forest was a place of dread, its ancient trees twisted and gnarled, draped in a veil of perpetual mist.
As they approached the crash site, the air grew thick with an unnatural presence, a pulsating energy that made the hair on their arms stand on end. The trees seemed to warp and bend, their branches clawing at the sky in agony.
In the centre of the impact zone lay the artifact, a grotesque sphere of metal and organic matter, its surface covered in intricate, eldritch designs. A massive, unblinking eye dominated its front, staring into the void with malevolent intent. Tendrils of dark energy snaked out from the artifact, distorting reality itself.
Quaraun approached the artifact, a twisted smile spreading across his face.
âWhat is it?â GhoulSpawn asked.
âFascinating,â Quaraun whispered. âIt speaks to me.â
âI donât hear anything.â
âThere are voices in it.â
Quaraun reached out, his gold plated fingers brushing against the cold, alien surface. The moment contact was made, a surge of power coursed through him, his mind flooded with visions of chaos and destruction.
GhoulSpawn watched in horror as Quaraunâs eyes glazed over, his expression shifting from fascination to madness.
âQuaraun, we should leave this thing be,â GhoulSpawn warned, his voice trembling.
âNonsense!â Quaraun snapped, his voice dripping with malevolent glee. âThis artifact holds immense power. With it, we can bend reality to our will, control the minds of Humans, and usher in a new era of darkness.â
Despite protests made by GhoulSpawn and BoomFuzzy, Quaraun picked up the great glaring metal encased eye and carried it with him back to their lighthouse.
Days turned into weeks, and the presence of the artifact took its toll on the surrounding area.
The once tranquil forest transformed into a nightmarish landscape, the trees withering and twisting into grotesque shapes. Wildlife became feral and hostile, squirrels, rabbits, and sparrows attacking anything that ventured too close.
Within the lighthouse, the atmosphere grew tense and suffocating.
Quaraunâs obsession with the artifact consumed him, his experiments becoming increasingly dangerous and unhinged. He used the artifactâs power to amplify his necromantic abilities, raising legions of undead lobsters to patrol the shoreline.
BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn, once united in their love and shared goals, found themselves at odds, arguing night and day.
BoomFuzzyâs concern for Quaraunâs sanity clashed with GhoulSpawnâs scientific curiosity about the artifactâs origins.
âGhouly, this thing is destroying him,â BoomFuzzy pleaded one night. âWe must do something.â
âI know.â GhoulSpawnâs yellow eyes flickered with uncertainty. He too was tempted by the strange alien object. âBut the artifactâs power⌠it could be the key to understanding the universe.â
âIf we doâna stop him, there may soon be no universe left to understand.â
One stormy night, as lightning split the sky and thunder rumbled like an angry god, BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn confronted Quaraun in the lighthouseâs dimly lit chamber.
The artifact sat in the centre, its malevolent eye casting an ominous glow.
âQuaraun, this has to stop,â BoomFuzzy said firmly. âThe artifact is driving you mad. It warping reality around us.â
âYou do not understand, Unicorn,â Quaraun said. His eyes burned with crazed glee. âWith this power, I can become a god!â
âA god?â BoomFuzzy asked. âIs that the Elf talking? Or the JellyFish?â
âYou know the Elf is dead.â
âSo, the JellyFish.â
âWe love you, Quaraun,â GhoulSpawn said, his voice gentle yet resolute. âWe cannot let you destroy yourself and everything around you.â
For a moment, it appeared Quaraun might listen, the madness in his eyes flickering with a brief spark of lucidity. But then the artifact pulsed, sending a wave of dark energy through the room. Quaraunâs face twisted into a snarl, and he raised his cane, channeling the artifactâs power.
âYou dare defy me?!â he screamed, unleashing a torrent of necromantic energy.
BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn braced themselves, but the artifactâs power was too much. The room twisted and distorted, reality itself bending under the weight of Quaraunâs wrath.
Just as it seemed the chaos would consume them, GhoulSpawn lunged forward, his massive form colliding with Quaraun.
The impact knocked Quaraun off balance, his grip on the artifactâs power faltering.
BoomFuzzy seized the moment, using his ceremonial obsidian blade to sever the tendrils of dark energy connecting Quaraun to the artifact.
With a final, desperate scream, Quaraun collapsed to the floor. The artifactâs eye dimmed.
The lighthouse stood in eerie silence, the storm outside having passed. Quaraun lay unconscious, his body trembling as he fought the lingering madness within.
BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn stood over him, their faces etched with worry and exhaustion.
âWe did it,â BoomFuzzy said, his voice barely above a whisper.
GhoulSpawn nodded, his eyes lingering on the now dormant artifact.
âBut at what cost?â
The forest outside began to slowly recover, the twisted trees straightening and the wildlife returning to normal. The artifactâs malevolent influence had been contained, for now. But the scars it left behind would serve as a grim reminder of the darkness that had almost consumed them.
As Quaraun stirred, his eyes opening to the sight of his lovers standing over him, he knew that the battle was far from over.
BoomFuzzy took the artifact and locked it in one of the trunks in the basement, and Quaraun agreed to leave it be. But the artifactâs power still called to him, a seductive whisper in the back of his mind. And in the shadows, the fractured moon watched over them, a silent witness to their struggle against the madness that threatened to consume them all.
