What is the series about?
It's three god-level, planet destroying, alien invader Space Elf, Space Faerie, Space Demon megalomaniac super villain bumbling wizards, and their ship's crew (The UnSeelie Court) with big global domination plans, whom have invaded 40th century Earth, settled in a lighthouse in Maine, started a zombie apocalypse, are hellbent on destroying all Humans and taking over the planet, but are never getting anything done because they are too busy throwing temper tantrums, having hissy fits, and flinging food, sea slugs, insults, and sexual tension at each other, to ever get around to destroying the planet.
It's slice-of-life survival horror in a post-apocalyptic necromantic dictatorship, told through dysfunctional domestic intimacy between soul-stealing villains who rule the world. Welcome to the spiralling madness of Quaraun’s eldritch, sensory-heavy, character-driven, neurotic, dysfunctional, intimate, sugar-dusted Fae-punk world. This is the hostile, dystopian, necromantic, and hyper-sensory domestic horror of Quaraun’s everyday life with BoomFuzzy (and sometimes GhoulSpawn), in a grim world ruled by undead Faerie warlords where society has collapsed and survival is brutal, intimate, and corrupt, and Humans are often on the menu of UnSeelie Court feasts.

- IMAGE 1: The Pink Necromancer, Thullid Infested Moon Elf silk weaver, travelling merchant, & Royal Court Mage of The UnSeelie Court: Quaraun Swanzen on Noodle Beach. With his unhinged temper, his 12 foot long prehensile, venomous jellyfish tentacle hair, his deadly laser wand, and his inability to stay sober long enough to cast a spell properly, he is the most feared being in the known universe. Quaraun is literally a Space JellyFish (A Thullid) whom has taken control of the corpse of a dead Elf.
In the year 2525, a comet struck the Moon. Now, in 40th century Maine, Earth is frozen, the Moon is fractured, and UnDead Lobsters are a serious problem. And then there's Quaraun: The Pink Necromancer. Most feared super villain on Earth. Possibly the galaxy. Maybe ever. But all he wants is tea, silk embroidery, and a calm evening in his lighthouse.
- IMAGE 2: Master Chef Phooka turned Lich King of The UnSeelie Court: King Gwallmaiic aka BoomFuzzy the Unicorn with his 1968 VW Bus Beach Noodle Food Truck. He is king of the entire fucking planet. Defy him and he'll serve you as the main course of the next UnSeelie Court feast. The world's only known Unicorn, in his true form he is a tiny lilac coloured Shetland Pony with a gleaming silver horn. In his Lich form he is a blue crystal skeleton of a Friesian stallion.
BoomFuzzy, the Unicorn Lich King of the UnSeelie Court, is Quaraun's dead husband. Technically dead. Officially terrifying. Unofficially the best baker left in the apocalypse.
- IMAGE 3: The Satyr-like, mad scientist Sheep Demon: Gremorse Liore aka GhoulSpawn with his 1974 AMC Gremlin time machine. He is Quaraun's apprentice, and fast becoming the most powerful wizard in the universe.
GhoulSpawn, their brilliant, baffled companion, fell through time from 1978 and never found the way home. Now he juggles tech repairs, running from zombies, and being madly in love with the two most dangerous men of the apocalypse.
- Art by Wendy Christine Allen.
- Not seen here: Toobe: a deceptively innocent looking tiny flying silver metal orb that hoovers around GhoulSpawn, giving science reports and scanning for dangers, Toobe is a sadistically insane sentient AI from thirteen thousand years in the future, who is the real brains behind the plot of global domination.
🌸{A Pink Necromancer Poem} 🦄🌸
I.
Upon the drowsy shores, the UnDead Lobsters stood,
Where oceans swirled in darkened wood,
And fog rolled in like a deathly flood,
They moved through mist, where shadows brood.
In the dim food truck’s gloomy air,
GhoulSpawn shuffled, moving wares,
His mind a buzz with numbers’ care,
In his zwodder, unaware.
GhoulSpawn, with mind so sharp and keen,
Inspected lists where none had been,
He found the truck in such a state,
The records kept in careless slate,
Chaos reigned where order should have been.
Lists and charts in careful rows,
Each ingredient, where it goes,
Drowsy thoughts, how time slows,
The food truck’s order grows.
Upon the drowsy shores, the UnDead Lobsters stood,
The seaweed strewn, the beach of blood,
GhoulSpawn knew that change was due,
For minds too dull, and hearts too crude.
Supplies to scavenge, supplies to find,
A stupid quest in a stupid mind,
GhoulSpawn’s zwodder left him blind,
To the chaos he’d designed.
II.
BoomFuzzy emerged from the lighthouse door,
Blind eyes searching, hands on the floor,
He sensed the change; he knew the score,
His kitchen touched, a sacred war.
“What is this mess, who’s moved my things?”
His voice like death bells ringed,
To feel his kitchen’s altered stings,
His fury in the air it clinged.
“Your methods, mad!” GhoulSpawn exclaimed,
“These charts you keep, they’re but a game,
A stupid act, no sense, no name,
Our stores will fall, our food be shamed,
Without these lists, we’ll lose our fare!”
BoomFuzzy fumed his sightless gaze,
He felt the shelves in distant haze,
His fingers found their rightful place,
“I need no eyes, I’ve memorized,”
His voice not calm, much anger raised.
Blind hands groping, searching through,
For things that were in places new,
A stupid act, a fool untrue,
To move the things that BoomFuzzy knew.
III.
Quaraun stirred from sleep’s embrace,
His drowsy thoughts a slow-paced race,
He heard the cries, the kitchen’s place,
Was filled with shouts, a bitter case.
“BoomFuzzy’s wrath, what’s happened now?”
He rose from bed with furrowed brow,
His pink silk robe, a royal cowl,
He left the lighthouse to end this row.
Out to the food truck, he slowly trod,
His lame leg leaned on cane to prod,
And through the door, his eyes did nod,
To chaos reigning where they plod.
“Ya stupid, lad,” BoomFuzzy said,
“For charts are fine, but in my head,
I know the taste, the scent, the feel,
My tools are mine, my hands are real,
Yar lists are drowsy thoughts misled.”
GhoulSpawn huffed, his temper high,
“This stupid game, it makes me sigh,
You cook by touch, but I by mind,
This chaos here, it’s most unkind,”
His eyes were sharp, his voice a cry.
IV.
BoomFuzzy turned to Quaraun’s form,
His rage a brewing, bitter storm,
“He’s touched my tools, disturbed the norm,
This stupid child, who dares perform?”
Quaraun stood, his gaze was cold,
And BoomFuzzy’s words began to scold,
This mess was not what had been told,
A stupid act in a stupid mould.
GhoulSpawn cringed, he meant no harm,
His charts and lists to disarm,
The chaos here, his only charm,
But now he faced the brewing storm.
V.
GhoulSpawn’s charts in hand did shake,
BoomFuzzy’s grin began to break,
The zwodder thickened, minds grew numb,
The drowsiness made all succumb,
To thoughts that churned in drowsy wake.
“I only tried to help,” GhoulSpawn said,
His words fell flat, his face turned red,
To organize what lay ahead,
To count the goods, to check the spread.
“But this is wrong!” BoomFuzzy cried,
“Your lists are nothing, they canna guide,
I need my space, not charts beside,
To touch my kitchen, who’s your guide?”
GhoulSpawn stammered, felt the sting,
His drowsy mind a fluttering wing,
He only wanted order to bring,
But now he felt the chaos cling.
GhoulSpawn knew not what else to say,
His mind so sharp began to sway,
This zwodder, stupid, pulled him too,
A foggy, drowsy, endless view,
Where logic’s light began to fray.
VI.
The argument flared, their voices high,
GhoulSpawn and BoomFuzzy eye to eye,
While Quaraun, drowsy, felt the sky,
Pull at his mind, a lullaby.
He yawned and stretched, his wand in hand,
A thought occurred, so simply grand,
He summoned broom to clean the sand,
Outside the truck, where he would stand.
To sweep away his thoughts and care,
The beach was waiting, the salty air,
While in the food truck, the tempers flare,
He left them both, their minds to tear.
A zwodder hung upon the air,
The ocean’s breath a silent prayer,
GhoulSpawn sighed in deep despair,
While Quaraun swept without a care.
Quaraun yawned, his eyelids low,
“Your stupid fights disturb the flow,
This drowsy place, it pulls me so,
I’ll sweep and sweep until you know,
That order’s found in sweeping slow.”
While on the beach, the seaweed swept,
The tide of UnLife in shadows crept,
A stupid calm, a zwodder kept,
The drowsy minds of those who slept,
While Quaraun’s broom the rhythm kept.
Upon the drowsy shores, the UnDead Lobsters stood,
Where chaos reigned, where none was good,
And fog rolled in like deathly flood,
Upon the drowsy shores they stood.
A zwodder hung upon the air,
The drowsy breeze, the stupid stare,
Quaraun swept without a care,
While GhoulSpawn groaned in deep despair.
VII.
Quaraun strolled down to the shore,
His broom in hand, the beach to score,
Sweeping sand and nothing more,
While BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn tore.
A zwodder hung upon the air,
A drowsy, stupid, murky snare,
Quaraun swept the sand with care,
But drowsiness crept everywhere.
The UnDead Lobsters, creeping near,
Their clicking claws a sound to fear,
But Quaraun, lost in sweeping clear,
Ignored the threat, his mind austere.
A zwodder hung upon the air,
The night was thick, the moon’s pale glare,
Quaraun swept with tender flair,
But in his heart, he felt the snare.
A sudden snap, a claw did grasp,
Quaraun swung his broom in a rasp,
He fought them off, each deadly clasp,
And yet, his friends were still in grasp.
VIII.
He glanced to see if help would come,
But saw the truck still filled with rum,
BoomFuzzy and GhoulSpawn’s glum,
Had left him here to fight the scum.
“Stupid fools!” Quaraun did cry,
“Can’t you see these beasts nearby?
Your stupid bickering will see me die,
And still you argue, eye to eye.”
He fought them off, his broom held tight,
While in the truck, they did still fight,
For him, their focus lost to night,
As Quaraun battled alone in the full moon’s light.
IX.
Back in the truck, BoomFuzzy’s woe,
He searched for things he used to know,
But all was moved, a stupid show,
Of GhoulSpawn’s order, laid so low.
“What is this mess? I cannot see,
Where are the things that once were free?
To touch my kitchen, who would be,
So stupid as to anger me?”
GhoulSpawn sighed, his zwodder deep,
He’d meant to help, not cause a sweep,
But BoomFuzzy’s wrath would keep,
His drowsy mind from restful sleep.
While outside down upon the beach,
Where the waves and shadows meet,
Quaraun’s wand did fiercely breach,
Zapping Lobsters, rotting meat,
UnDead claws he must defeat.
Lightning sparked and shadows screamed,
Foul sea beasts did vilely teem,
Quaraun’s shouts cut through the dream,
GhoulSpawn’s name he did beseech,
But no aid from them, it seemed.
X.
Quaraun, angry, swept the sand,
His broom now turned to weapon hand,
And with each stroke, the beach was spanned,
A stupid task on stupid land.
“No one cares! No one sees!
The dangers here, the deadly seas!
They bicker while I fight with ease.
You stupid fools! My thoughts displease!”
He muttered low, his voice a growl,
As UnDead Lobsters crawled in prowl,
He beat them back, a deadly scowl,
And stomped away, his drowsy cowl.
Melted sand now turned to glass,
Each step fraught with blasts that pass,
Where each lobster'd strike amassed,
His wand like lightning did enmass,
Creating glass on this darkened mass.
XI.
And still, they argued, tensions high,
While Quaraun swept beneath the sky,
Their drowsy minds too slow to spy,
The danger crawling ever nigh.
“You fools! You fools! I need your help!”
Quaraun’s cries did echo, voice sharp as kelp,
Wand flashing bright, with death’s cruel yelp,
Quaraun’s fury, fierce and fell,
But no one came to break the spell.
A zwodder thick upon their brains,
A stupid fight, their words like chains,
And Quaraun, lost in sandy plains,
Beat back the Lobsters’ deadly reigns.
But still they bickered, still they fought,
Blind to the danger that they sought,
Their minds in zwodder, drowsy caught,
In webs of words that came to naught.
But Singing Sea Slugs heard the call,
Their eerie songs did rise and fall,
Joining Quaraun’s magic thrall,
They danced in arcs, their notes did stall,
Glass and salt and lightning’s bite,
Sea Slugs sang through the night,
Lobsters fell to their cruel might,
Quaraun’s power, a fearsome sight,
Yet still no help, a growing slight.
XII.
A drowsy state, a stupid night,
Their words like venom, sharp in spite,
And Quaraun, now weary from the fight,
Returned to them, his broom held tight.
“You stupid fools,” Quaraun breathlessly said,
As BoomFuzzy searched for his bread,
And GhoulSpawn scribbled lists in red,
Their minds still tangled in the dread.
“Enough of this! Enough of you!
Your zwodder thick! Your vision skewed!
I swept the sand, and the dangers shooed,
While you two argue, lost and wooed!”
“You stupid fools! I’m off to bed!”
Quaraun shouted loud, his face all red,
Dragging broken broom, where blood once bled,
GhoulSpawn and BoomFuzzy fell silent, filled with dread,
As Quaraun stormed where ghosts had fled.
“Why’s he mad?” They could not tell,
BoomFuzzy grumbled, a growling swell,
GhoulSpawn stared, lost in his spell,
The beach now silent, death’s cold knell,
Unaware of the peril, Quaraun had quelled.
The story ends as it began,
With drowsy minds in zwodder’s span,
A stupid fight, a foolish plan,
In Noodle Beach, where dangers ran.
