What is the series about?
It's three god-level, planet destroying, alien invader Space Elf, Space Faerie, Space Demon megalomaniac super villain bumbling wizards, and their ship's crew (The UnSeelie Court) with big global domination plans, whom have invaded 40th century Earth, settled in a lighthouse in Maine, started a zombie apocalypse, are hellbent on destroying all Humans and taking over the planet, but are never getting anything done because they are too busy throwing temper tantrums, having hissy fits, and flinging food, sea slugs, insults, and sexual tension at each other, to ever get around to destroying the planet.
It's slice-of-life survival horror in a post-apocalyptic necromantic dictatorship, told through dysfunctional domestic intimacy between soul-stealing villains who rule the world. Welcome to the spiralling madness of Quaraun’s eldritch, sensory-heavy, character-driven, neurotic, dysfunctional, intimate, sugar-dusted Fae-punk world. This is the hostile, dystopian, necromantic, and hyper-sensory domestic horror of Quaraun’s everyday life with BoomFuzzy (and sometimes GhoulSpawn), in a grim world ruled by undead Faerie warlords where society has collapsed and survival is brutal, intimate, and corrupt, and Humans are often on the menu of UnSeelie Court feasts.
Seen in image:
- IMAGE 1: The Pink Necromancer, Thullid Infested Moon Elf silk weaver, travelling merchant, & Royal Court Mage of The UnSeelie Court: Quaraun Swanzen on Noodle Beach. With his unhinged temper, his 12 foot long prehensile, venomous jellyfish tentacle hair, his deadly laser wand, and his inability to stay sober long enough to cast a spell properly, he is the most feared being in the known universe. Quaraun is literally a Space JellyFish (A Thullid) whom has taken control of the corpse of a dead Elf.
In the year 2525, a comet struck the Moon. Now, in 40th century Maine, Earth is frozen, the Moon is fractured, and UnDead Lobsters are a serious problem. And then there's Quaraun: The Pink Necromancer. Most feared super villain on Earth. Possibly the galaxy. Maybe ever. But all he wants is tea, silk embroidery, and a calm evening in his lighthouse.
- IMAGE 2: Master Chef Phooka turned Lich King of The UnSeelie Court: King Gwallmaiic aka BoomFuzzy the Unicorn with his 1968 VW Bus Beach Noodle Food Truck. He is king of the entire fucking planet. Defy him and he'll serve you as the main course of the next UnSeelie Court feast. The world's only known Unicorn, in his true form he is a tiny lilac coloured Shetland Pony with a gleaming silver horn. In his Lich form he is a blue crystal skeleton of a Friesian stallion.
BoomFuzzy, the Unicorn Lich King of the UnSeelie Court, is Quaraun's dead husband. Technically dead. Officially terrifying. Unofficially the best baker left in the apocalypse.
- IMAGE 3: The Satyr-like, mad scientist Sheep Demon: Gremorse Liore aka GhoulSpawn with his 1974 AMC Gremlin time machine. He is Quaraun's apprentice, and fast becoming the most powerful wizard in the universe.
GhoulSpawn, their brilliant, baffled companion, fell through time from 1978 and never found the way home. Now he juggles tech repairs, running from zombies, and being madly in love with the two most dangerous men of the apocalypse.
- Art by Wendy Christine Allen.
- Not seen here: Toobe: a deceptively innocent looking tiny flying silver metal orb that hoovers around GhoulSpawn, giving science reports and scanning for dangers, Toobe is a sadistically insane sentient AI from thirteen thousand years in the future, who is the real brains behind the plot of global domination.
🌸🦄🌸{A Pink Necromancer Poem} 🌸🦄🌸
I.
In a tavern by the stormy coast,
Three travellers sat, one a ghost,
A bard appeared, his voice bellicose.
In a tavern, cold and bleak,
The bard began to speak,
Of a past both vile and bleak,
Of the Elf Eater, harsh and sleek.
He sang of a king from days of old,
Aggressive, cruel, with a heart so cold,
King Gwallmaiic, the tale was told.
The flames in the hearth did flicker,
As the bard’s voice grew thicker,
Telling tales of a king much quicker,
To anger, bellicose, and slicker.
A Phooka fierce, in shadows he crept,
Hostile armies at his command swept,
Through villages, while children slept.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
King Gwallmaiic, the name he bore,
A Phooka whose heart craved for war,
With an aggressive thirst for more,
He left lands rotten to the core.
II.
The tavern folk hushed, eyes wide in fear,
As the bard’s words grew sharp and clear,
Of a time when death was always near.
In a tavern cold and bleak,
Quaraun did his wine sip meek,
As BoomFuzzy’s past did leak,
Through words, sharp and sleek.
Quaraun, the Elf, with a sip of his wine,
Listened close to the story’s line,
Of his husband’s past, so cruel and fine.
The bard’s tale continued on,
Of Kelpies at the break of dawn,
Marching through the hostile throng,
Led by a king who knew no wrong.
BoomFuzzy, once the Elf Eater feared,
In Pepper Valley, his wrath had seared,
Fields and forests, none were spared.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
GhoulSpawn listened, tense and pale,
To the bellicose Phooka’s tale,
Of aggressive deeds that left a trail,
Of sorrow, death, and a gruesome wail.
III.
The bard’s voice rang with chilling might,
Of the king who brought endless night,
Aggressive, relentless in every fight.
In a tavern cold and bleak,
BoomFuzzy’s eyes did quietly peek,
As the bard’s words began to creak,
With tales of blood, thick and reek.
GhoulSpawn sat, his hands a-tremble,
As the bard’s tale began to assemble,
The horrors that made strong men humble.
“The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley,”
The bard’s voice did strongly rally,
With hostile force in every alley,
Left naught but death in every tally.
King Gwallmaiic led his Kelpies forth,
Hostile spirits from the frozen north,
Bringing death from their icy berth.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
Quaraun smirked and drank his wine,
For Gwallmaiic’s deeds were far from kind,
Aggressive acts that shunned the divine,
Wrought by a king whose soul did twine.
IV.
The people whispered, the tavern tense,
As the bard’s song grew more immense,
Of a king with no remorse, no sense.
In a tavern cold and bleak,
The crowd did softly sneak,
Closer to the bard’s fierce beak,
As he spoke of deeds that reek.
BoomFuzzy grinned, a wicked gleam,
Remembering well that bloody stream,
The bard’s words, not just a dream.
Hostile was the Phooka’s reign,
With a bellicose thirst for bloody pain,
That left fields red and drained,
Beneath a sky that wept in vain.
The bard warned of the Elf Eater’s might,
Bellicose, a master of fright,
Aggressive in his endless fight.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
BoomFuzzy grinned, a fearsome sight,
As memories of those war-filled nights,
Came alive in the dimming light,
Filling the tavern with ghostly fright.
V.
Quaraun smirked, his eyes aglow,
For he had seen the king’s cruel show,
Hostile to all, both friend and foe.
In a tavern cold and bleak,
The bard’s voice began to peak,
With a tale that made hearts weak,
And left the bravest mouths to squeak.
The tale wound down, the bard’s voice low,
As he spoke of the king’s final blow,
To a land now lost beneath the snow.
“No mercy did the Elf Eater show,
In lands where hostile winds did blow,
With aggressive steps, fast or slow,
He brought about eternal woe.”
BoomFuzzy, King Gwallmaiic, once so grand,
His reign of terror across the land,
Aggressive, hostile, none could withstand.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
Quaraun chuckled, wicked and sly,
For he had seen Gwallmaiic’s eye,
Aggressive, hostile, and oh so high,
A Phooka king who ruled the sky.
VI.
In a tavern cold and bleak,
The bard’s tale reached its peak,
As BoomFuzzy, with a grin so sleek,
Recalled his days, both grim and bleak.
And as the bard finished his grim tale,
The tavern folk seemed to pale,
For the past was close, just beyond the veil.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
The bard’s song came to an end,
As every word did slowly blend,
Into a warning they couldn’t mend,
Of the bellicose king, with no friend.
VII.
In a tavern cold and bleak,
The bard’s last note did softly leak,
A warning to those who seek,
The bellicose king, both grim and bleak.
BoomFuzzy, once the Elf Eater feared,
The crowd now gazed, eyes teared,
For the hostile king had never veered,
From a path both vile and smeared.
Bellicose!
Warlike!
Aggressive!
Hostile!
In a tavern by the stormy coast,
Three travellers sat, one a ghost,
The bard’s voice echoed, bellicose.
