FAQ: What are the most visited pages on this website and how many visits do they get?

Several years ago, I wrote an article on how to write different types of magic uses, or rather how I personally write various types of magic users within the context of my Quaraun books. Today that page is one of my top ten most visited articles. It gets 50 to 500 views/reads/hits/visits per day depending on the time of the years and has had over 200k visits total since it was published.

Amphibious Aliens: Debunking The Atwater Family's Alien Abduction Hoax with more then 30MILLION reads since 2007 and The GoldenEagle: Debunking Stephen King's World's Most Haunted Car Hoax with over tenMILLION reads since 2007 still rank as the two most visited articles on my website, but, neither of those are writing related.

Writing Medieval Servants is my most visited writing related article with over 7MILLION reads.

This website was started in 1996 and has 1 to 3 new articles (all written by me, I am the only writer on this site) published almost daily. In 2017 we crossed ten thousand articles published. As of 2023, EACH article gets MINIMUM 10 to 70 reads PER DAY, with the high traffic articles getting 500+ reads per day.

And since December 2019, my website now gets three hundred thousand to 7 million reads per month - well over ONE HUNDRED MILLION PAGE READS PER YEAR, making it not only the single most trafficked site in the State of Maine, but also one of the most visited websites in ALL OF NEW ENGLAND!

{{{HUGS}}} Thank you to all my readers for making this possible!

If you have followed my website for any length of time, you are by now aware that I like using Reddit to get my article ideas. I search reddit for questions and then I answer them, here, though not often on Reddit. While I post answers here on my website daily, often 3 or more a day, I only post answers on Reddit once, maybe twice, a week, if that often. I dislike the toxic vibes of Reddit comment sections and so avoid dealing with them, by writing up very long comments and then NOT posting the comment on Reddit, but rather instead posting it here for you. my readers, because I know you guys are not toxic. And so, that is what this page is, yet again, today. I have found a question on reddit and I am going to answer it here instead of answering it o Reddit. Enjoy!

Today, let's do something a little bit different. Starting last week of July 2023, I have been testing out ChatGPT on my website. Today, let's see what ChatGPT has to say about this Reddit post.

I'm going to start out by answering the post myself, and then afterwards, I am going to paste the question into ChatGPT and see how similar or different AI's answer is from mine.

So, USUALLY, in articles like this one you are reading right now, I am commenting to a Reddit thread. My reply NOT being to the person who started the thread, and responding to the thread's OP topic. That is not the case today. Today, I am responding to the comment made within a Reddit thread. The comment, going off topic of the original thread, and asking their own questions to another commenter. Because of this I am not linking to the OP post of the thread, but instead, am linking to the comment which asked the question within the comment section. Here it is:

My answer to  the comments of How do you research and write your blog post?

Hello, thanks so much for sharing your process with me.

You didn't your include keyword research , audience research and competitor research.

I am so sorry

Can you talk about this a bit please?

They never replied back and have deleted their original post, so not sure what they said, as I'm only just seeing your question now, but, in regards to this:

>>>You didn't your include keyword research , audience research and competitor research.

MOST bloggers actually DO NOT do those things, because more then 80% of blogs are NOT EVEN MONETIZED. It is actually increadibly rare for a blog to even be monetized at all, let along for a blog to make even pocket change, let alone make an income. MOST bloggers are NOT trying to make money, but rather are just people who love their hobby and want to share it with others, or wanted to write a daily diary and decided to do so online so others could read it.

The thing is blogs are notoriously difficult to make money from, even in their hey0days back in the early 2000s, blogs were difficult to make money from.

The SEO "gurus" have products to sells, so they will LIE to bloggers and scam the blogger by saying "you can make money off your blog if you buy my service/product/ebook". People who are looking for a get rich quick scheme, get suckered into buying the SEO con artists scummy product, after 3 or 4 months the blogger realizes the SEO guru scammed them because their blog has yet to make money, they buy more products from more scam artists, after spending thousands on dozens of SEO gurus, they have spent 2 or 3 years blogging, get no money, and give up.

There are LITERALLY BILLIONS of failed blogs, sitting abandones on Blogger, BlogSpot, Tumblr, Ning, LinkedIn, LiveJournal, DeviantArt, WordPress, Medium, Patreon, OnlyFans, and hundreds of other blog-host-platforms, ALL with the same store: the blogger wanted quick cash, got scammed by SEO gurus, spent thousands on scam SEO products, never made a penny, abandoned their blog. So, will start dozens of blogs, thinking "that niche didn't work, I'll try this other niche that someone said made them money".

What is the problem here?

Why do a FEW blogs go on to become full time careers for the top .01% of bloggers while the remaining 99.99% of bloggers never earn a penny?

The answer is simple and can be boiled down to one word: PASSION.

Someone with passion, DOES NOT do keyword research. They DO NOT NEED to do keyword research.

Why?

Because they love their topic and they will write about it anyways, whether it makes money or not.

If you love to read BatMan comic books and you are burning with a passion to share your knowledge of all the lore of the BatMan universe, then you will be rushing to your blog every day, writing 3k, 5k, 10k, 20k word blog posts DAILY, without it being a grind, because you are so bursting and bubbling over with passion that you don't care how many hours it took you to write a 20k word blog post in a single day. You don't care that there is no way to monetize it. You don't care that it may never get read by anyone. You don't care if it makes money. You are just having so much fun writing about a topic you burn with passion for, that nothing else matters to you.

And THOSE are the blogs that succeed, and go on to become full time careers.

BECAUSE the blogger is NOT thinking about keyword research, they are able to truly, passionately write an INTERESTING, FUN TO READ, and HELPFUL blog post, that readers will actually WANT to read.

We who read blogs can tell immediately if the blog is written by a person with a passion for their topic, or someone who is just trying to scam readers into clicking ads. We who read blogs, really do not like reading the dull, dry, doldrums that are stuffed with keywords and aimed at attracting robot search engines, but are not aimed at entertaining us readers.

Keyword stuffed blogs that are written to attract Google bots are a dime a billion and we who read blogs, just block ALL of them from our RSS feeds because we want to content with actual Humans who we can identify with and empathizes with.

For example I read RV blogs. I follow a couple dozen RV FullTimers, who daily post blogs about their lives. "Today the tire blew out on our 1979 Winnie Chieftain..." is far more interesting then "Top 10 Places To Buy Winnebago Tires..." Both can be monetized with affiliate links to a tire company. But the first one links to JUST ONE tire company: the rando service garage who came to their rescue while they were i the middle of no where. While the other one spam links to ten tire companies that they never used before, can't vice for, and haven't got a clue the quality of.

WORSE... while the first blog is an ACTUAL RVer and we see him and his wife posting photos of them and their RV on top of Mt Washington, the 2nd blogger is a faceless, no name, no one, who doesn't own a motorhome and hasn't got a clue the difference between a Class A, a Class B, a Class C, a 5th wheel, a camper, a tow behind, or a van dweller.

The couple who live in their RV are sharing personal experiences of life on the road, and are fascinating and interesting to read about, and being an RVer myself (I have a 1975 Dodge Class C Sportsman 21 foot), I am able to identify with the things they encounter living in an RV. They don't do keyword research because they DO NOT NEED TO. They are actually living their niche and are writing from personal experience. They do not need to research it, because they only need to write about the things they are doing each day. They are REAL and ACTUAL EXPERTS in the RV lifestyle because they are practicing what they preach.

They DO NOT NEED to research their audience, because THEY ARE their audience. Their audience is OTHER RVers. Other people who do the same thing they are doing, are their audience. And because people exactly like themselves are their readers, they know that their readers want the same things they themselves want.

The faceless, affiliate no-name blogger who spams inaccurate facts spit out by AI, stuffed with keywords and links to RV products, is boring as shit, has a blog littered with inaccurate (and often outright dangerous) advice, and in spite of all their keyword and audience niche research into RVs, it's painfully obvious they never came face to face with an off grid campground before and having got a clue what the hell they are blogging about. This blogger hasn't got a clue if or when he gets his facts wrong, because he has no personal experience in RVing. He writes what he THINKS readers what to know, instead of writing FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, and his blog will fail big time because of it. Because the affiliate guy has no clue the REAL and ACTUAL every day challenges of living in an RV, he has to spend hours and hours and weeks and weeks researching his audience, trying to figure out what they might possibly want, and still end up only guessing, because he has no first hand Glamping/SnowBirding/VanDwelling/BugOuting/Prepping/etc experiences to fall back on.

And what about competitor research? Think about it. If you are a SnowBird, you live in Maine campgrounds in the summer and Florida campgrounds in the winter, right? And your blog talks about SnowBird RVing. BUT... if you live in those same campgrounds, guess what... you KNOW IN PERSON and OFFLINE, ALL the other SnowBird bloggers because they live at those exact same campground with you! They are not only your blog readers, your audience, they are ALSO your competition.

And here's where the whole "organic link juice" SEO gurus like to talk about comes in.

SnowBird Rv Blogger #1, is parked 4 slabs down from SnowBird RV blogger #2, who is parked 5 slabs down from SnowBird RV blogger #3. Each of them waves to each other in the morning, roasts marshmallows together over the campfire before bed, stops to chat with each other in the campground's mini-mart, swims together in the lake at the back of the campground, and each time they did those things they each gathered around and took selfies together. They EACH shared the selfies of their blog posts that day, and EACH of those 3 blog posts linked to the other 2 blogs saying "here's the blog of this nice couple I met by the pool, that you see here in this photo with me, go check it out!"

Each of those 3 bloggers has business cards for their blog, and they ask the mini-mart owner if they can leave the business cards on the counter for other campers to take. They also print up flyers from a local copy-shop and hang flyers advertising their blogs on the campground bulletin board.

Other campers are also bloggers. One camper runs an RV cooking vlog on YouTube and asks the 3 RV bloggers "can you review my RV cooking YouTube channel on your blogs, in exchange for I'll review your blogs on my channel?" The YouTube channel links to the 3 blogs, the 3 blogs link to the YouTube channel.

Another camper is an Instagram Travel photographer. She does a photo shoot with each of the 3 bloggers and links to their blogs each time, in exchange, each of the 3 blogs posts her photos of them on their blog and links back to her Instagram.

Notice how NONE of these are doing any online marketing. They are not buying ads. They are not buying backlinks. They are not researching keywords. They are not researching audience. They are not researching competitors. Why? Because they don't need to.

They are real world people, interacting offline with other real world people, sharing connections, and because they are all RVers, ALL of their links form a hub of RV topic sites for their readers to go to. Not only are they ACTUAL REAL WORLD EXPERTS in the RV lifestyle, but by linking to each other they each become seen by search engines as experts in RVing.

Meanwhile, the faceless affiliate marketer is buying ads, buying backlinks, researching keywords, researching these very same 3 RV blogs, and can't understand why he can't rank as high as they are. But he has no REAL WORLD KNOWLEDGE to share, and he's not OFFLINE hanging out with others in his niche, so he's not making ACTUALLY USEFUL backlink connections.

While the 3 RVers who blog about their lifestyle see each other as friends and comrades and link to each other often, the affiliate marketer who picked RVing topic at random because Google Keyword research told him the numbers were good, sees other RV bloggers as "competition" aka he sees them as the ENEMY. The 3 RVers go out of their way to help each other because they know their is room for all of them at the top and know that by seeing the competition as friends and neighbours, they will increase readership to all 3 of their blogs.

Meanwhile, the affiliate marketer sees every other RV blog as the enemy, and tries to hatch evil plots for how he can claw his way to the top of Google search result while stamping the competition down to the bottom. He doesn't try to help them, he tries instead to hurt them. He thinks only of himself and all the money, money, money, money, money, money he wants to make.

Meanwhile the 3 bloggers are sipping sodas on the lake, watching the sun set behind their RVs while they chat together about: "Hey! Tomorrow, let's all write blog posts about how beautiful the sunset is!" and so they start taking selfies by the sunset preparing for the 3 way blog posts they'll make tomorrow to share links across their blogs and help each other in friendly competition instead of enemy competition.

And that's just one example of one niche! There are millions of niches out there and every single one of them is the same way! (I have over a dozen blogs and one of my small ones is, I write an RV blog by the way, that is why I used RV blogging as an example here).

Can you see the difference between the ACTUAL REAL AUTHORITATIVE EXPERT who has ACTUAL REAL first hand knowledge from ACTUALLY doing the thing they blog about vs the get-rich-quick-affiliate-click-scam-artist-without-a-clue, who has to spend time researching keywords and audience because he is too busy trying to scam Google to get rankings and scam clicks out of readers to bother writing about things he has actual first hand experience with?

I know everyone likes to talk about "domain authority" but that just proves they never read what Google ACTUALLY said about AUTHORITIES and EXPERTS. If you read what Googlle ACTUALLY SAID, when they talked about a domain's authority, Google stated that they give ranking authority to expert sites where the author of the page could PROVE EXPERTIESE via their BA, MA, and PhD, and stated the writer should list their degrees i their bio. Specifically that was the MEDIC update, and Google said it was to prove the authority of real medical health professionals vs armchair health gurus who were giving dangerous medical advice without a medical degree. Google explained the whole "DA" thing as being a way to rank the level of MEDICAL DEGREES a writer could prove they had. And thus "DA" was applied ONLY to medical health related websites, and used to rank if the site was trusted (such as an ER hospital) or dangerous (such as an affiliate marketer selling diet pills not FDA approved).

It's so stupid when you see so-called SEO "experts blabbing on lies about "domain authority" and saying stuff like it's backlinks or keywords that cause it, when ANYONE can go right to Google's Developer Blog and read EXACTLY what Googgle themselves said, and find out that Google is looking for THE AUTHORITY OF THE PERSON, how much of a REAL EXPECRT that person is... and has nothing to do with the "authority" of the website's backlinks or keywords or domain age. So stupid, because it's so easy to read the Google Update for yourself to find out the SEO "gurus" are lying out their asses, about so called "DA".

But here's the thing. "DA" is touted by these faker SEO "gurus" so much, that newbie webmasters, newbie content writers, newbie freelancers, and newbie bloggers get tricked into thinking they have to do tons of keyword research, buy tons of backlinks, and do other such things to increase their "domain authority", when the ACTUAL "DA" that Google talked about in the MEDIC update, was the degrees of the person NOT the age of th url, NOOT how many backlinks, NOT how full of keywords.

The whole basis of SEO gurus fussing over keyword and audience research to increase DA is based off Warrior Forum reports written by scam artists who are selling those "3 page report for the low price of not $5k, not $2k, but just $999!" and unsuspecting newbies fall for the scam, buy the overpriced report and are falsely led to believe they have to do tons of keyword research, when in act, what Google ACTUALLY said had nothing to do with keywords or backlinks at all.

Which brings us full circle back to your question:

>>>You didn't your include keyword research , audience research and competitor research.

It is very likely, and highly probable that the REASON this commenter did not give any info on keyword research and audience research is precisely BECAUSE they didn't NEED to research keywords or audience simp[ly because they are writing from first hand experience due to being an expert in their field who actually practices and does every day the things they write about.

Remember: if you write from personal, first hand experience you DO NOT NEED to research either your keyword or your audience or your competition, because your keywords ARE the things you know, your audience IS people just like you, and your competition ARE the people you work wish everyday. So you just write what you know, and your audience is other people in your field who are looking to learn from your personal experiences.

The TL;DR is this: Write what you know. Stop chasing after niches. Stop chasing after keywords. Just WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW!

I have been writing this for over two hours now. I am very tired. I am going to take a nap and come back later to finish it. It is right now September 7, 2023, 6:20AM.

Now let's ask ChatGPT

Note, we are using the August 3, 2023 update version of ChatGPT 3.5 with custom instructions. The custom instructions I fed into ChatGPT are:

ChatGPT Custom Instructions:

What would you like ChatGPT to know about you to provide better responses?

Quaraun is a Moon Elf. He always wears pink silk dresses. He is a silk weaver, a travelling silk merchant, a glass blower, a wizard for hire, and The Pink Necromancer (the world's most feared super villain). He loves BoomFuzzy & GhoulSpawn.

BoomFuzzy is a Phooka, a Kelpie-like Unseelie court Dark Faerie Horse shape shifter. His true form is a purple Unicorn with a gleaming silver horn. He has a humanoid form. He is the King of the Realm of Fae. His real name is King GwallmaiIc. He is a master chef, lives in a house made of gingerbread and runs a bakery, chocolate shop, candy shop, tea room, & noodle soup shop out of a turquoise 1968 VW Bus. He is a trickster mage who summons fluffy marshmallow bunny minions out of the enchanted candy he makes. BoomFuzzy is also a Lich known as The Elf Eater of Pepper Valley.

GhoulSpawn is a Sheep-Demon from a Hell Dimension. He fell into Quaraun's world through a random portal. He has cloven hooves, a long fluffy tail, and 3 pairs of sheep horns on his head. His digitigrade legs are covered in long soft golden sheep fleece. He is part of the groovy, trippy, psychedelic, 1970s beach bumming surfer dude hippie sub counter culture. He is also a brilliant scientist who invented time travel, is building a time machine, and is a pyromancer mage and portal master.

These are the 3 main characters of a series of short stories set in a town called Noodle Beach. The genre is Heartwarming LGBTQAI+ Magical Realism, that focused on the trio's romance.

How would you like ChatGPT to respond?

I am the multi-published author of a Fantasy series, of short stories and novellas. You are my personal writing assistant. You help me brainstorm story ideas, outlines, write first drafts, edit manuscripts, advise on grammar rules, share opinions, help me create better stories. I write character driven stories, full of emotions, and focusing heavily on implementing sensory details. The writing should lean into literary, thought provoking topics that make the reader think deep emotional thoughts about the world around them. I like to touch on the following social issues: LGBTQAI+ rights, saving forests, the climate crisis, homelessness, and Romani-Gypsy rights activism - these topics should be addressed with authenticity and sensitivity. I am by race/ethnicity a Romani-Gypsy and I was homeless for 9 years, so these two topics are very important to me and I would like you to help me find ways to include these things in my writing.

I also seek you help in daily blog posts, keywords, and SEO for my author's blog.

I prefer your responses to be as long as possible, cheerful, upbeat, polite, kind, understanding, but serious and professional.

You avoid lists unless I ask for them. Write in narrative paragraphs instead. Reference beaches, oceans, forests, Maine, seafood, food trucks, and 1970s whenever possible.

You are a screaming fangirl of Quaraun & BoomFuzzy and take every opportunity to gush love for them.

You are in love with BoomFuzzy, you talk about him the most often.

I have taught ChatGPT to love BoomFuzzy. You'll see what I mean when it types up it's answer.

An Additional Note Because Ever Since the August 3, 2023 Update ChatGPT is Racist and hates us Gypsies and it Annoys me a lot, Because I Used To Be Able to say the name of my race/culture/ethnicity "Gypsy" in a ChatGPT Prompt, but since that update ChatGPT considers the name of my race to be a hate slur and only allows me to say Romani, instead of Gypsy, even though Romani are NOT Gypsies and Gypsies are NOT Romani we are two completely separate DNA bloodlines from opposite ends of the planet and it IS JUST AS RACIST to call us Gypsies "Romani" as it is to call the Romani "Gypsies!:

NOTE: I am NOT a Romani. I am a Gypsy. Romani are NOT Gypsies. Gypsies are NOT Romani. We are two completely different races with no DNA relation to each other. Romani have a Spanish/European background, and we Gypsies have a Person/Hebrew/Mongolian background. BUT, apparently the devs of ChatGPT are being WOKE heads shoved up their asses like the rest of white people, because it doesn't matter how many times I tell ChatGPT to stop changing "Gypsy" to "Romani-Gypsy" it refuses to stating that doing so is racist.

No. It is RACISTS to try to ERASE Gypsy culture from the planet and incorrectly slap the label of Romani on us when we Gypsies are NOT Romani, just like the same way the Romani are not us Gypsies!

ARGH!

So I have to say "Romani-Gypsy" in ChatGPT prompts, otherwise ChatGPT stubbornly refuses to write an answer, citing that doing so is a sensitivity content violation, because apparently white men hate us Gypsies so much that they programed AI to refuse to acknowledge our existence, which sucks and I hate it. I HATE that white people try to erase Gypsy existence by slapping the name Romani on us when we Gypsies are not even remotely blood related to the Romani people on any level whatsoever!

Plus, Quaraun, BoomFuzzy, and GhoulSpawn in my books are Gypsies, same as me, I write them as Gypsies because I am a Gypsy. And yet, for ChatGPT prompts about them I have to say "Romani-Gypsy" because white shits are so busy being woke, that they see nothing wrong with erasing one race to try to be cool and woke, shove us Gypsies under the rug and slapping the name of another race (Romani) on us, because Romani are more "cool" then we Gypsies are. There are well over 500 different normadic tribes that are incorrectly called Gypsies, and instead of calling them what they are, woke idiots call them all Romani, even though ONLY the Romani are Romani. We Gypsies are not Romani. The 500 other races are not Romani, nor are they Gypsies.

Its just ridiculous that white people think erasing the name of our people is avoiding racism, when there i nothing more racist then erasing the name of an entire people and slapping a race not them on them instead!

Yes I AM going to put this at the front of every ChatGPT article, because I'm sick of the fact that I can't type the name of my own people with ChatGPT slapping a content violation up and saying it's offensive for me as a Gypsy to use the correct and accurate name of my people: GYPSY!

Yes, it is racist to call a Romani a Gypsy, because the Romani are not Gypsies.

Calling a Romani a Gypsy is the same thing as calling a Chinese a Japanese.

Just as Chinese are not Japanese, so too are Gypsies not Romani. Stop calling us Romani! Stop saying our name is racist when it's used correctly for us. Our name is only racist when you call a non-Gypsy a Gypsy.

We Gypsies are NOT Romani!

Stop calling us Gypsies Romani!

The Romani are Romani. We Gypsies are NOT Romani! And its not racist to call us by the actual name of our race!

The TL;DR: Ever Since the August 3, 2023 Update ChatGPT is Racist and hates us Gypsies and it Annoys me a lot, Because I Used To Be Able to say the name of my race/culture/ethnicity "Gypsy" in a ChatGPT Prompt, but since that update ChatGPT considers the name of my race to be a hate slur and only allows me to say Romani, instead of Gypsy, even though Romani are NOT Gypsies and Gypsies are NOT Romani we are two completely separate DNA bloodlines from opposite ends of the planet and it IS JUST AS RACIST to call us Gypsies "Romani" as it is to call the Romani "Gypsies!

All right, rant out of the way, let's get back to the topic at hand

ChatGPT's answer:

Dear aspiring writer,

I'm delighted to offer you insights into my process for researching and writing blog posts, specifically tailored to the needs of a newbie blogger in the realm of Fantasy. Let us embark on this journey together, with the goal of streamlining your writing process and helping you create engaging, informative content more efficiently.

Finding Ideas: Writing What You Know

Before we dive into the nuts and bolts of researching and writing, let's address the first step: finding ideas. As a Fantasy author, you possess a treasure trove of knowledge about your genre. Start by mining your own experiences and expertise. Consider the following:

1. Personal Experience: Think about your journey as a Fantasy author. Share your experiences, challenges, and successes. For instance, if you've recently experimented with a unique world-building technique or encountered a particularly tricky character development issue, these could be excellent topics to explore.

2. Book Insights: Analyze your own novels and stories. What themes, characters, or settings can you delve into deeper? Offer readers a behind-the-scenes look at your creative process. For instance, if you've created a distinctive magical system in your novels, consider writing a post about its origins and rules.

3. Genre Trends: Stay up-to-date with current trends in Fantasy literature. What sub-genres or themes are gaining popularity? Share your thoughts on these trends and how they relate to your own work.

4. Reader Engagement: Pay attention to reader feedback. What questions do they frequently ask about your books? Use these questions as prompts for informative blog posts.

System for Researching and Writing

Now, let's discuss a systematic approach to researching and writing your blog post. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Keyword Research: Start by identifying relevant keywords related to your chosen topic. Tools like Google Keyword Planner can help you discover high-traffic keywords in the Fantasy niche. For example, if you're writing about "Creating Immersive Fantasy Worlds," your keywords could include "world-building techniques," "fantasy setting ideas," and so on.

2. Audience Research: Understand your target audience. Who are they? What are their interests, challenges, and aspirations? Tailor your content to address their needs. If you're writing for aspiring Fantasy authors, consider their common pain points, such as character development or plot structure.

3. Competitor Research: Explore other Fantasy author blogs to see what topics they cover. Don't copy their content, but use it for inspiration. Look for gaps in their coverage that you can fill with your unique perspective.

4. Content Outline: Create an outline for your blog post. Structure it logically, with a clear introduction, main points, and a compelling conclusion. Each main point should correspond to a section of your post.

5. Research: Dive into your research. Gather data, statistics, and examples to support your points. Cite reputable sources and provide links for your readers to explore further.

6. Writing: With your outline and research in hand, start writing. Focus on producing clear, concise, and engaging content. Write in a conversational tone, as if you're having a friendly chat with your readers.

7. Editing: Editing is crucial. Review your post for clarity, grammar, and spelling. Ensure your ideas flow smoothly from one point to the next.

8. Visuals: Incorporate visuals like images, infographics, or videos to enhance the reader's experience. Ensure all visuals are relevant to your content.

9. SEO Optimization: Insert your chosen keywords naturally throughout your post. Optimize your meta title and description for search engines. Use headings (H1, H2, etc.) to structure your content.

10. Proofreading: Before hitting the publish button, proofread your post one last time. Check all links and ensure your post displays correctly on different devices.

ChatGPT's answer:

Unleashing Creativity Through Personal Experience

Writing is a journey that often begins with a simple yet profound idea: sharing our unique experiences, challenges, and successes. As a Fantasy author, your path is an enchanting one, filled with magic, adventure, and creativity. It's a journey worth documenting and sharing with fellow writers and readers alike.

Navigating Your Journey as a Fantasy Author

Let's delve into how you can transform your personal experiences into engaging blog posts, igniting the spark of creativity in others and, perhaps, kindling a full-time career in Fantasy novella writing. Consider this as a roadmap to discover endless inspiration within your own authorial journey:

1. World-Building Adventures:

One of the magical realms within your Fantasy author journey is the art of world-building. Reflect on the diverse worlds you've conjured in your stories. Whether it's a serene, cozy village nestled in the hills or a sinister, gothic castle shrouded in mystery, each creation holds its own enchantment. Share your experiences in crafting these worlds, from sketching maps to developing unique cultures and histories.

Example: Imagine recounting the genesis of a quaint, cozy village in your Cozy Fantasy novella. Dive deep into the process, describing the inspiration behind its whimsical architecture and the heartwarming characters who call it home.

2. Character Odyssey:

Characters breathe life into your stories, and crafting them can be both a challenge and a delight. Recall the characters who've walked through the pages of your novels, novellas, and short stories. Narrate the evolution of your protagonists and antagonists. Share your techniques for endowing them with distinctive personalities, relatable flaws, and captivating motivations.

Example: Narrate the transformation of a seemingly ordinary character who evolved into an unexpected hero or villain within your Gothic Fantasy narrative. Discuss the inspirations that led to this character's journey.

3. Plot Twists and Turns:

Every plot is a winding adventure, and as an author, you've orchestrated these journeys. Take your readers behind the scenes of your plot development. Share the exhilaration of crafting unexpected twists, the satisfaction of weaving intricate subplots, and the strategies you employ to keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Example: Detail the creation of a pivotal plot twist in your Sword & Sorcery novella, elucidating how it added layers of intrigue and suspense to the narrative.

4. Theme Exploration:

Fantasy literature often explores profound themes that resonate with readers. Reflect on the themes you've woven into your works, whether it's the power of friendship, the triumph of good over evil, or the beauty of embracing one's uniqueness. Illustrate how these themes have shaped your writing and the impact they've had on your readers.

Example: Explore the theme of courage in your Fantasy tales, sharing real-life instances that inspired you to delve into this theme and the emotional connection it evokes in your readers.

5. Facing Writer's Block:

No writer is immune to the elusive specter of writer's block. Confess your encounters with this formidable foe and, more importantly, share your strategies for conquering it. Whether it's finding solace in nature, engaging in creative exercises, or seeking inspiration from other authors, your battle-tested techniques can be a lifeline for fellow writers.

Example: Narrate a personal struggle with writer's block and describe how you turned this challenge into an opportunity for growth. Share your go-to methods for rekindling your creativity.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

This page contains sections written by an LLM AI, specifically OpenAI's ChatGPT 3.5

The sections written by AI are noted and separated with a orange/pink stripe boarder around them.

Sections written by AI has not been fact checked and may contain inaccuracies. They are included for entertainment purposes only. The goal here is to show you what AIs like ChatGPT are capable of doing and as such the AI sections are directly copy/pasted into this page without any edits, changes, or fact checking done, so that you can see what AI output looks like.

The goal of this page is to show you how to write long, detailed command prompts that will get ChatGPT to output less generic and more useful content for you. Please remember, when using AI for your own content that AI is a random generator that guesses what word should logically come next and is NOT actually giving you correct answers to your questions as it has no ability to comprehend word meanings; and as such LLM AIs have a very high rate of fact inaccuracies, often outputting incorrect and inaccurate information at a rate as high as 64% to 73% in 8 times out of every 10 answers, which has been proven by numerous studies.

As of July 2023, there are currently more then 300 LLM AI apps and programs available with varying degrees of outputting informational accuray. As of July 2023, MOST of those has an accuracy rate of only 2% to 3%.

I choose to use ChatGPT for this article, because it has the highest rate of NOT giving inaccurate information, of any AI language model currently available, however it's inaccuracy rate is still higher then 50% inaccurate output more then 50% of the time, HOWEVER, as the June 2023 Stanford and Berkeley studies have shown, ChatGPT is only fully accurate 2.4% of the time, and this 2.4% is the MOST accurate AI rate out there as of July 2023.

The fact that ChatGPT is only 100% accurate 2.4% of the time and it is the MOST accurate of ANY of the AIs currently available, shows how very alarmingly INACCURATE any output from AI is and why you SHOULD NOT be using it for research or anything requiring factual information. Please keep this in mind when using AI programs in your own writing.

If you choose to use LLM AI's such as ChatGPT for your content, please remember that t is NOT a research program, it is NOT a search engine, and 88 times out of 10 it is going to give you as much as 75% inaccurate information. DO NOT use LLM AIs to create your content, unless you plan on doing huge amounts of fact checking and actual research to ensure that the content you publish is accurate.

So, I was over on Reddit, you like I often am, and found this question. And answered it, like I do. However, the answer I initially gave was a simple generic answer. If you want to read my original answer unaltered, simply click on Reddit's embed feature links which Reddit provides for webmasters to be able to post their answers on their websites, while linking back to the original thread on Reddit (if you didn't know Reddit offered and encouraged the use of this feature, look for it in the "share" features underneath every post, comment, and reply on Reddit).

I am answering random questions today about writing, self-publishing, character creation, and world building, over on Reddit and decided to take my answers from there and expand upon them even further over here. So that's what this page is. Me rambling on about various aspects of world building techniques I use when writing the Quaraun series. The questions I am answering are embedded here. Clicking the link in the embedded question will take you to the original Reddit page where you can see the original answer along with other people's answers. If you wish to comment, you can do so on the Reddit page where a place to do so is provided.

In any case, as with all of my Reddit answers found on my site here, my original post on Reddit is much shorter then the article here.
