Happy 2026!
It is our 30th anniversary here at Space Dock 13!
On the web since 1996!
You have encountered an extremely old website that continues to exist in old web ways, the same way it has done for now three decades.
In spite of being now 30 years old this year, started in 1996, it is still heavily active and old pages updated daily, new pages added daily, still now in 2026. All hand written, all hand coded (no AI), all by me, same as it ever was.
We Still Exist: The Old Web Did Not Go Away, You Just Forgot How To Find Us
|
This site was NOT designed for mobile devices (as they had not been invented yet when I created it) thus this site looks best on a computer, at 1280x768 or above. |
This is a very old website created in 1996, so, yes, javascript is needed for the site to work as it should. If things don't function, you may need to update javascript drivers on your device |
This site tries to be mobile friendly but it's been online since 1996, so old pages may not load right on mobile devices, and as this site has had pages added near daily for 30 years there are now over 20k pages here. |
Having started out in life as a GeoCities site, this site contains glitter, bright colours, blinkies, moving gifs, and other things the old web was known for. |
A weird and funny, I can't stop laughing about it, thing happened today...
Have you ever heard of A/B testing where, you take a thing, make different versions of said thing, then publish each version of said thing in different places from each other, then wait to see the results from each?
So, I did that. I took twelve articles, and published them in twelve places. Within the article is a number, in a sentence. The number itself is on no real importance, as it is incorrect in ALL twelve articles. Each article contains a different number one through twelve, that is simply there as part of the A/B test so that I can determine which article got which results. As you know, I never went to school, and was never taught math, and while I can identify numbers in their word form spelled out as letters, I can not in their numerical form. I also can not count, I can not do addition, I can not do subtraction, I can not do money or clocks or calendars. I am female and was not allowed to go to school because females are not allowed to go to school (in our culture), and so for ANYONE to look at that sentence at the bottom of the article, which has nothing to do with the article, and think that it would be mathematically correct, is laughable. It is simple a number there so I can tell which platform the article was on.
I assign a number to each platform, and the number in the article, simply means the article was published to that platform. The number then also appears on a spread sheet chart, and all tracking data from that article goes into that slot on the spread sheet. That's ALL the number is. There is ZERO attempt to make the number mathematically accurate because I do not know how to do math, so I do not know how to make the number correct or what the correct number should even be.
Why do I say this?
Because...
Funny thing happened today... rather hilarious actually... someone local, showed up at my apartment and gave me hell about the inaccuracy of the number "three". The answer is not "three" and they wanted to make absolutely certain I knew it. They never mentioned the article itself, or what exactly "three" it was they were referencing, in a very hilarious bending over backward attempt to go out of their way to not mention the article, while being very upset about the number "three" being very, very, very wrong. Apparently, the correct number, according to them, should be "sixteen". I have no clue if sixteen is correct or not, but they are very adamant that sixteen is in fact the correct answer.
But, none of the articles contact sixteen, because there were twelve versions of the article, published on twelve platforms, and therefor, none of the articles have a number higher then twelve.
The number, simply is used to track the data of these twelve platforms.
You see, I'm trying to see where my articles get the most traffic, to my target audience, and these twelve numbers are very simply tracking numbers, so I know which platform the traffic data came from.
In any case, this person, made hilarious attempts to try to hide the fact that they read my articles online, which, seems odd, but whatever, but the number three being incorrect upset them so much that they had to tell me how much it upset them.
This is someone who CLAIMS they do not have online accounts.
Someone who CLAIMS to not know what my accounts are online.
Someone who for several years now has gone out of their way, on a near monthly basis, to tell me for no reason at all "I've never read anything you've written." Even though I've never asked them too, and they they oddly blurt this out in the middle of conversations that have nothing to do with my writing at all (making it highly obvious they DO read my writing, otherwise why would they go out of their way to tell me they don't so much, so often?)
In any case, I'm left now knowing, not only do they DO in fact read my articles online, BUT, I know EXACTLY which platform they read them on... it's the platform that I have assigned as "three".
I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to think about any of this, other then I am left to wonder, WHY is it they feel the need to try to hide the fact that they read my yaoi stories, and WHY did the number three trigger them so badly?
It just seemed like such a wild, random thing for anyone to have a meltdown over, but, this thing I can't stop laughing about is how hard they tried to hide the fact that they read a yaoi story, but the three upset them so bad that they had to tell me about it, but they kept right on trying to pretend the didn't know where the three came from, LOL! I don't think they realized, until AFTER, they stopped yelling at me, that by yelling at me about the inaccuracy of the number three, they inadvertently admitted to reading my work.
Okay, I get it, most people who read yaoi don’t want anyone to know they read yaoi. But, that three, in that specific equation, appeared in only ONE place, so I know EXACTLY what they read and WHERE they read it, because that equation appeared only in that one story, and the answer three was only found on one platform. So yelling at me about that specific equation and the wrong answer of three, they accidentally told me exactly which thing they read and exactly where they read it.
Tracking data doesn’t usually come knocking on the door. It usually shows up in tracking cookies. I think this is the first time I’ve had tracking data irritate a reader. Which again, I find it funny, but also, stalker creepy too.
Some people just do strange things. And yet, once again, I am left to ask: why is it that people think it is okay to hunt down an author’s home address so they can yell at them in person? Uhm… I am an avid reader, and I can’t imagine, seeking out an author’s home address to go there for any reason at all. Why is it so many people feel like they can do that? I think this might be a case of parasocial behaviors or whatever it is they call it when an online fan thinks you are their friend because they read/view your work online and don’t realise you have no clue who they are.
Tip for anyone who needs it: online people are not your personal friends. If you read my work or watch my videos, that doesn’t make me your friend. You knowing me, doesn’t mean I know you. Okay? And that applies to EVERYONE you read or watch online. YouTube is not a 2 way screen, I can not see you watching me. My books are not psychic connections, just because you read my book, doesn’t mean I know you did.
This reminds me of Joel B. You remember him? The deranged stalker who FBI put in prison, because he infiltrate so many lives of my friends, family, and relatives, telling all of them he was my best friend, telling them I sent him to collect money from them… you know, the guy I had never even heard of until AFTER he was in prison and the state police showed up in 2013 to tell me he’d stalked my family since 2006, they’s arrested him, oh by the way he was out of prison… released days before my son was murdered and I was crippled, and… according to the FBI he scammed my friends, family, church, and relatives, out of over thirty million dollars, all while pretending to be my best friend, all pretending to be my “spokesperson”. I don’t have a spokesperson. Turns out, he was a fan of my novels, and thought that by reading my novels, that made him my best friend, and in his mind gave him the right to embezzle thirty MILLION dollars in money from people I knew… money that the FBI has only recovered thirty-eight thousand of and is still looking for the bulk of the thirty million. Joel B. to this day is not allowed to have contact with me, my friends, my family, my parents, my mother, Ben, my relatives, nor is he allowed to set foot in Old Orchard Beach or Biddeford, Maine, AT ALL. The FBI still tracks him, still follows him, still suspects him of being the instigator of the backhoe driving over my house, of hiring the golf club woman to cripple me and murder my 8 month old son. Joel B. is a very, very, VERY dangerous man, and the FBI is not happy that he was released from prison, just days before the golf club woman crippled me.
That is what this event reminds me of. It reminds me, that yet again, a fan has decided, they are my “friend” simply because they read something I wrote online and not respect for boundaries or personal space.
And while it’s funny how angry they got over three being the wrong answer to an equation, it’s also terrifying that they decided to show up in Biddeford to tell me in person how much it upset them. Joel B. put my family through an absolute nightmare… and while you may be a harmless fan, I have no way of knowing that you aren’t another Joel B. Think about that, next time you decide to show up in person.

While there are around 20k pages on this website, most of them are blocked from search engines, with only around 800 of them available for appearing in Google/Bing/etc search results. The remainder can only be accessed via the various links found throughout this site. This was done deliberately on my part, and I did it because the bulk of the pages on this website are chapters from 138 novels and 423 novellas, so only the first page of each novel and novella indexed by search engines, and the remainder are linked in order, one page at a time, via clicking "next page" at the end of each. So if you are looking for a specific page from a specific novel, Google can't help you.
