What is the series about?

It's three god-level planet destroying alien invader Space Elf, Space Faerie, Space Demon wizards, with big global domination plans, whom have invaded 40th century Earth, settled in a lighthouse in Maine, are hellbent on destroying all Humans and taking over the planet, but never getting anything done because they are too busy throwing temper tantrums, having hissy fits, and flinging food, sea slugs, insults, and sexual tension at each other to get around to destroying the planet.

It's slice-of-life survival horror in a post-apocalyptic necromantic dictatorship, told through dysfunctional domestic intimacy between soul-stealing villains who rule the world. Welcome to the spiralling madness of Quaraun’s eldritch, sensory-heavy, character-driven, neurotic, dysfunctional, intimate, sugar-dusted Fae-punk world. This is the hostile, dystopian, necromantic, and hyper-sensory domestic horror of Quaraun’s everyday life with BoomFuzzy (and sometimes GhoulSpawn), in a grim world ruled by undead Faerie warlords where society has collapsed and survival is brutal, intimate, and corrupt, and Humans are often on the menu of UnSeelie Court feasts.

Magic Apples, a Drabble Not

{A Pink Necromancer Drabble Not} — {Drabbleish MicroFiction} — {NaNoWriMo 2024: Day 29}

The orchard buzzed with the hum of bees as the pink silk tent stood beneath the branches. Inside, Quaraun adjusted the loom’s rotating cylinder, winding the long vertical threads. He watched them carefully, making sure they stayed taut as they spun.

Beside him, BoomFuzzy inspected a basket of golden apples, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

“Ye weave silk finer than a Faerie’s hair, Love.”

“And you have the finest hair of any Fae that ever lived.”

“Me coily wooly ropes ain’t what one would normally describe as fine.”

“I was not referring to the texture, Unicorn. You have beautiful hair. It is why I married, remember?”

“Aye. Ya were too busy lusting after me hair to notice I were evil UnSeelie King.”

“You are not evil in my mind. Humans think of you as evil. I am not a Human. I am an Elf.”

“Aye. And a crafty li’Elf ya is. Always making treasures out of Nature.”

Quaraun, focused on his craft, replied without glancing up.

“And you, Unicorn, hoard apples like treasure. What do you plan to do with all them?”

“Make magic, of course,” BoomFuzzy said, chuckling softly.

“From apples?”

“Ye make magic from silk.”

“I enchant silk shawls with psionic energy, so I can read the thoughts of the wearer. Helps me find souls to collect. I can pre-write my soul contracts to match their innermost desires. And helps Glinta find houses with the best loot.”

“Aye, and if we ain’t selling poison apples door to door, how ya think we gonna distract the Humans so’s our little Sheep Demon can get in to snag the loot?”
