FAQ: What are the most visited pages on this website and how many visits do they get?
Several years ago, I wrote an article on how to write different types of magic uses, or rather how I personally write various types of magic users within the context of my Quaraun books. Today that page is one of my top ten most visited articles. It gets 50 to 500 views/reads/hits/visits per day depending on the time of the years and has had over 200k visits total since it was published.
Amphibious Aliens: Debunking The Atwater Family's Alien Abduction Hoax with more then 30MILLION reads since 2007 and The GoldenEagle: Debunking Stephen King's World's Most Haunted Car Hoax with over tenMILLION reads since 2007 still rank as the two most visited articles on my website, but, neither of those are writing related.
Writing Medieval Servants is my most visited writing related article with over 7MILLION reads.
This website was started in 1996 and has 1 to 3 new articles (all written by me, I am the only writer on this site) published almost daily. In 2017 we crossed ten thousand articles published. As of 2023, EACH article gets MINIMUM 10 to 70 reads PER DAY, with the high traffic articles getting 500+ reads per day.
And since December 2019, my website now gets three hundred thousand to 7 million reads per month - well over ONE HUNDRED MILLION PAGE READS PER YEAR, making it not only the single most trafficked site in the State of Maine, but also one of the most visited websites in ALL OF NEW ENGLAND!

I don't know if it's the norm or not, but for me, when I first started doing Erotic shorts on KDP (in 2010) I was writing 5k-ish stories that has 2k-ish long sex scenes.
By around 2013-ish I was at 7k-ish stories still with 2k-ish sex scenes.
In 2014 I did a 115k Romance novel, that included only one (very graphic Erotica-level) sex scene, right near the end, but that sex scene went on for 10k words.
And then after that novel, my plots went more Romance and less Erotica. Not an intentional or planned thing, it was just that my writing automatically started being way more Romance and way less Erotica without my even realizing I was doing it.
From 2015 onward to currently in 2022, my stories evolved into 15k long short stories to 25k short novella range, and was now full of emotional relationship fluffiness, with much more lime flavor, then my former full smuttiness with super-sour lemon flavor. And each year since 2015, my sex scenes have gotten shorter and less graphic, while my cuddle scenes have gotten longer and more emotional driven.
Like I said there was no conscious plan to move out of super-smexy Erotica into super-fluffy Romance, it was just something I ended up doing without realizing I was doing it, but looking back, you can clearly see how each year my sex scenes got shorter and shorter, while my emotional/cuddly/romance/relationship/plot scenes got longer and longer.
And several of my most recent stories, have gone full sexless "sweet" Romance, full cozy, snuggle cuddle scenes without any sexual content at all, which, is something my readers, a little as 3 years ago, probably would have said they never would have expected to see me write, LOL!
NOTE-this is all for one series, about one couple, under one pen name. so it was not multiple series or multiple pennames.
So, a decade ago, I was running on 60%-to-70%+ full lemon sex to 20%-40% lime plot ratio, that slowly evolved over the last 12 years to become completely reversed with now 20% or less lime sex scenes vs 80% or more fluffy cuddle bunny romance plot scenes.
Like I said, I don't know if this is a common or normal thing to have happen, or if it's just me. Maybe it's because I got older? I'm elderly-I'm old enough to be the grandmother or great-grandmother of probably 90% of the users on Reddit-I published my first novel in 1978, 44 years ago, so that says something about my age right there, LOL! So, could be an age thing, where I just got old and started liking fluffy cuddly stuff more then super-smexy stuff now? I don't know.
I've always been someone who writes for myself, and if readers like it too, great! If not, oh well, that's fine too. I've never written for the market, so, my heat/spice/sex level to plot/fluffy/romance ratio, is definitely a reflection on my personal tastes evolving over the years.
